Chapter 21- Princess

Marcus POV

At only 15 I over threw my father. I was the eldest and wanted what was rightfully mine.

      I started by slowly poisoning him, with the help of a witch. A few months after I turned 16 and finished the job. I have been an alpha of Legion Souls pack since 16, now I'm 40. I have a little brother. He is now 35. He has always wanted what should be mine! When he turned 18 I banished him from my pack. 

      I still hear from him time to time, whether it be a note, or a pop in visit. He wanted my alpha position years back, I took care of that. He wanted to be more powerful than me, I took care of that. He wants to rule the world, I will end him. And finally, like always, he still wants what is mine. Kylie. 

      I heard when she was born and waited all these years. Apparently so has my brother. Little does he need to know, I have her. He will not get her! She is rightfully mine!!

      I never found my mate, so I will eventually need someone to take my place. A heir. He will rule the world if I can't! My son will be strong. I will train him right. He will be powerful, all thanks to Kylie.

       Last night I tried to take her roughly in my bed, which triggered her power! She transformed last night. She was beautiful. Wings sprouted from her back, which unfortunately prevented me from doing what will be done. But I have no worries. She will carry my pup one day. I will be sure of that. It's not like she's going anywhere. I let her sleep on the ground last night, she didn't deserve the bed. I just finished up a meeting. Unfortunately I have many more. 

    I still have to figure out what kylie is. I can smell she is part wolf. But something else is there too, plus her wings. I know she is powerful, it was said since she was born. But no details were ever given, She must be a Hybrid. Obviously the only explanation. But what is her other half? And is she only a hybrid?

    Mmm. Thinking about her power, her being a hybrid, makes me shiver in delight. Our son will be so powerful! And evil. I laughed. Once my pup is born from her belly she will rarely see him. I might even pace her in the cells. She will have to take care of him, feed him, put him to sleep, etc. But I will have him most of the time. For training. Plus I know poor Kylie has a sweet soul. She will try to feed him lies. Make MY son turn against me. And we can't let that happen, can we?

As I'm walking into my next meeting one of my omegas comes running up to me.

“Alpha! Alpha!”

“WHAT?”

“I'm sorry alpha. You have a message, labeled important.” She said with her head down.

 I walked into another room and she handed me a note then left. Closing the door behind her, I opened the note. Immediately I roared. That bastard!

         ~Dear brother, long time no see. 

I believe you have what is mine. I have already staked my claim on her. I even met her in the woods a few weeks back.

If you do not wish to give her to me, don't worry, I will get her. She is quite powerful, but you already know that. We will rule the world together, and when we do I will burn you alive for all the wrong you have done.

I will be there after your last meeting, 10pm sharp, to collect what is mine.

Don't be late.

    I was seething at this point. I could feel myself beginning to lose control. My fingers began to extend. My face elongating. Fur sprouting from my body. My shoulders began to hunch forward before I dropped to my knees. I let out another roar. My wolf is angry. He doesn't like kylie for some reason. He should be able to sense her power. He should be thrilled I found her! We can have strong pups. He wants pups so I don't get why he is fighting me so much. He tells me she is mated but that is a lie! I don't smell anyone else on her. She isn't marked. And the moon goddess should know she is mine. If she paired Kylie with anyone else she made a mistake. And I will fix it.

    I finally shifted the rest of the way, my wolf shook his fur letting out a ferocious growl. 

***Wolf takes control**

    My human is terrible! I growl in disgust. Why moon goddess? Why did you pair me with such an ignorant human? I want a new one. He claims to have pups with this Kylie girl. Yes she is powerful, but that pair right there, kylie, she is good. She is mated.. Her soul is good, I can sense that. The moon goddess has a bright future for her..I hope she lives through all the torture that she has to endure, on top of everything she has gone through. Her wolf, Angel, is a sweetheart. I would gladly take her as my mate. But she already has a mate, and I wouldn't make them deal with my evil human. Thats torture. My heart is set on my fated mate. I hope she is good, kind, and loving. I can't wait to ravish her. I will love her with every fiber in me. I only hope my human changes his way when we meet her. If not I may have to take complete control. Or worse, take us out of the picture. I couldn't bring harm to my one and only love.And if we find her and he even thinks about rejecting her, he can either consider himself wolfless, or dead. 

I don't mind kicking his ass or taking him out of this world for her protection. I would do anything for her, I only hope she has a good soul.

**Wolf gives back to control**

Marcus POV

I didn't make it to the rest of my meetings. Having only a few minutes till 10, I made my way outside. I growled in annoyance, I didn't want to see my pathetic brother. I despise him. But maybe I can play him?.. Get him to work for me. I have to play this just right…

“Mmmm, hello dear brother. Lovely seeing you.” I tried, in my sweetest voice.

“Cut this s**t, I'm here for what's mine.” this isn't going to be easy..

“What is that?” He growled.

“SHE'S MINE! WHERE IS SHE?!” whew, someone is demanding tonight.

“I, dont have her..” He laughed. s**t.

“Let. me. See.” 

“Fine”

I linked the  guard to remove her from the room. 

I took him through the packhouse, up to my room. I never received a link confirming she was out of the room, so I'm hoping for the best. I will deal with them later. I open the door to my room and see she isn't there, perfect. 

“Well dear brother, I can see she isn't here.”

   “Told you brother.”

“Where is she?”  I chuckled.

“Do you see her? No. She's not here.”

“I can smell her i***t. So you either have her somewhere else, or, you lost her.”

“She esca-” I received a mind link.

“A-alpha..we couldn't find her.. We looked, she was not in your room..”

I roared. Furious. I quickly realized my brother was still here, so I calmed myself. He couldn't know that I planned to keep her, lied about her being here then escaping, while she was away the whole time. I calmed myself then looked at him. He has an evil smirk.

“You lost her.” He said simply and smugly. Then he darted out the window.

Letting out an angry growl I linked my guards to go after them. Both. But to focus on catching her..
