Chapter 33-Legacy and the Prophecy

“Some angels are given the ability the adapt their power. In situations of need they can receive basic powers of one's specialty. Sometimes they gain the power to control water, parts of earth, fire, light, darkness, something close to a witch's magic. It really varies on the situation. Also those are very broad categories.
Example if one is in need of power they do not possess, say maybe nature. They may receive the temporary power to control plants. Another thing to note is Angel power is much different from everyone else. Our power can do so much more. Something else to note is elements of the earth, and probably light is the hardest to be gifted. Basic earth powers are common. But to have over all control of a whole element is not common. and pure white wings, for either light or a pure heart. Very rare.
It's also very difficult. have the power of wind. I have never met a wing guardian.but it's unheard of to possess all earth elements. since if one soul possesses all earth elements they can destroy the world. So it's not often that a soul is blessed with an element. If they are, it's most always a plant type of thing. That's only the beginning though. I'm pretty sure this is a legend, but, it is said there is such a thing called a celestial Angel, also known as a cosmic or space angel. I've never met one, or seen one, but it's said they can control elements of space. They technically can control all elements. They guard not only all supernatural, but also all space and earth life around us. Thats all i really know about them, if i had to guess that would be the most powerful angel. I could be wrong since they may not even be real, but hey a girl can dream.”
I looked in awe at my new little trainer. Her eyes seemed to reflect pride, and amazement. It seems like such a gift to be an angel, but such a responsibility to. I mean whatever power you receive, you become a guardian over.
She actually has a few gifts. And over time she will teach me how to use more gifts as time goes. We found out that I can control small things in nature. Like I can pick up dirt, or grow plants. So maybe I'm a nature guardian? Or a plant guardian, I'm not sure yet. She also said that since I'm a hybrid that I may have a few more powers than others. We will see.
"Soo, trainer? If I'm going to be working with you then I should atleast get to know your name, right?" I smiled. She giggled at me.
"Well dear s-" she choked. "I mean, yes. That would make sense." I nodded my head eagerly, motioning her to continue. She sighed.
"My name is legacy." My eyebrow raised. That's an interesting name..
"Why legacy? I mean it's very unique, I love it. But it's an interesting choice.." I trailed off.
"It's silly really.." she looked me in the eye before continuing.
"There's a prophecy. My mother found this out long ago, before I born, but not before her first born. Sadly. She was told by someone that her child would change the world. They would have all supernatural bow at their feet, that my mother would be mated to another species and the product of their love would change the world for hybrids.
Their life would be hard, but so worth it in the end. My mother always believed that would be me, so she trained me very hard.that's why I'm capable of training you. I've been prepared to take over the supernatural kingdom and lead as a queen all my life.. I don't think that's me anymore though.. I don't think it was ever meant to be me honestly. I just have a feeling. That's all for now, let's get back to training."
I nodded, but had so many questions. Where's her parents? Where is her older sister she mentioned? Also who is her mother, legacy must be very powerful with her mother being powerful, plus the prophecy. I almost feel like I should bow down to her, however something in me keeps me from that and instead sees her as an equal.
We then decided to go for a run. She understands how comforting it is to run. To feel the wind in our fur. It helps us connect to our wolves too. Growing our bond.
Something tells me my bond is already strong, but it needs to be stronger to handle our future.
When we finally return, shift back, legacy shows me some things she can do. Things she has practiced on for years..even though she's only 15.
I watch in amazement and try to study all the things she does, the way she relaxes her body, closes her eyes, takes deep breaths, gestures her hands. Everything I can to help me learn how I can control any power I have.
Once we are done with that I head back to the house. Popping in I see ivy in her green room. Growing and tending to some plants. Her house is always so lively. In the corner of my eye I see Zoey.
"Hey Zoey! Did you go to training today?" She nods her head.
"How'd it go?" I push.
"It was good. My trainer is great, and so far everyone here has been fine with me being a wolf." She smiled.
"That's great! Everyone here is very welcoming, very accepting. I hope they will be fine with me being a hybrid." I chuckled nervously. She nodded.
"How was your training? You love training so much." She laughed. I giggled in response.
"It was great! I love learning. My new, young trainer is amazing. She really knows so much. And I found out her name today! Legacy!.." I told her enthusiastically. She quirked a brow.
"Legacy?" She trailed off. "Mhm" I nodded.
"There's a whole story about it. Its alot really. But very unique. We get along so well, I really feel very connected to her. And I can't figure out why." She smiled.
"Oh! I am also going to the pack- you know what you know what I'm trying to say. What are you supposed to call the main building? Its a packhouse for goodness sake. Anyway!...I'm going there for the reading today. Are either of you coming with?"
"Uuughmm. Maybe? I think so."
"Cool. I want to get something to eat first, then we can all go over and wait." Everyone agreed to my idea. Soon we will have a reading of our future..know what to look forward to. Maybe even what or who to avoid.
