Chapter 37- Did you say, Blue Moon?

Kylie POV

    I just got done training with legacy. We just worked on some simple things. Today we continued with controlling plants. Growing, shrinking, etc. I have been working more with the water element as well. I have learned to take water out of plants, and deposit water back into them. I cant practice on much else since it's not safe to do on humans. The last few days me and legacy have also been working on holding tiny water droplets in the air. Bringing more together, separating them. How many individual droplets I could hold. Really it was quite amazing. 

    Now time for some physical training. Even though practicing powers kind of kills off my energy, since it takes a lot of energy at the moment. But I still have enough. I started with a 5 mile warm up, running in human form. After that was done I went to the tree line. I just started to break a sweat, so now it's angels turn. I shifted into angel and she ran a few miles. Of course she jumped over things and zigzagged through the trees. Having fun. Then she started to chase her tail? What is she a puppy?

    “Angel! Stop it.” I scolded her. She whimpered, then continued her run. She kept running, but then I caught the scent of a rabbit. Oh no.

    “Don't even think about it” but it was too late. She started chasing the rabbit. She loves a good chase. As soon as she caught it she let it go. I have no clue why she does this, but sometimes she just loves to scare the sh.it out of living creatures. She runs back to where we shifted, just enjoying the run. Once I was back into human form, I put my clothes back on and went into the gym. I did simple things today, pull ups, push ups, sit ups, lunges, squats,. Then I did some mountain climbers before going to the punching bag. I was only there a few minutes before I decided I was tuckered out.

So I made my way into the pack house. Which is weird calling it a packhouse because they aren't wolves, but it's a place with a large gathering. So it's a pack of people? Right.

    “If it works for you doll it works for me” 

I threw open the door and marched into the kitchen. I am so hungry! I walked up to the kitchen counter and saw a working angel there.

    “Hi there.” I walked up to her.

    “Hey good afternoon kylie. What can I get for ya?” I smiled, she's so nice.

    “Anything that's already made up is fine.”

    “Sure, we just finished making lunch not long ago. I'll serve you up a dish.” i hated to ask for anything extra to be made, so she knew she could dish up anything and i would take it gratefully. She handed me back a plate so I went to sit down with it.

Today they made up some lasagna. Mmm! One of my favorites. I started eating immediately, but then I heard a conversation and I couldn't help but listen. Two teenage girls gushing over something.

    “Oh my goddess!” one squealed.

    ` “Did you hear what the alpha of Blue Moon is doing!?” immediately my attention is grabbed.  Mate. angel whispered.

    “No!”

    “Oh my gosh. Okay. he is hosting the mate parties. And he added to them in hopes he would find his mate. He has a certain area all done up for her, and he always stands there  at the end of each party!”

    “Oh my gosh that's so cute!” the girl squealed again.

    “Ya, apparently she ran off or something and he was hoping that by doing this she would see the lights from where she was, or that people would begin talking and it would reach her.”

    “Ahhh. That's so romantic!”

MATE! Angel yelled at me.

    I quickly rose from my seat. Knocking back my chair,  gaining the attention of some bystanders. I ran over to the two girls. Wanting to make sure I heard right.

    “I'm sorry, but did you say blue moon?” the girls nodded vigorously.

    “Could you by any chance point me in the right direction of Blue Moon pack?

They gave me puzzled looks, but complied nonetheless.

    I ran out the door. A smile blasted on my face. He's looking for me! He wants me! I made it outside in no time. Running in the direction the girls gave me. I saw ivy, Zoey, and legacy but all that was on my mind was mate.

    They tried to stop me but I kept running. My back started to string and burn. I wanted to stop, because of the pain. But I couldn't, and I won't. I ran at full speed when suddenly something came out of my back. Wind blasted on my face as I looked down and realized my wings were carrying me! I was flying! Oh thank you dear wings!

No problem 

    I didn't have time to ponder on the voice, or admire my wings. I didn't know how to control my wings, but somehow I was flying pretty good. I knew it wasn't me controlling them, but I didn't think about it too much. I soared through the air, heading to the place I needed to be at.

Legacy POV

    Me, Ivy, and Zoey were all walking into the main house when i see Kylie burst out. She's running at an impeccable speed. Obviously she only has one thought on her mind. We tried to stop her, but she didn't hear us. I see feathers start to pop out her back. My eyes widened in shock. Her wings are about to come out. She doesn't know how to shift into her wings, meaning wherever she is going, must be important.

Suddenly her wings blast out of her back, and my jaw hits the floor. She truly is who I thought she is. Mom will be so proud.

    I grab Zoey and will my wings out and take off after her. I can't separate from her and I know how much she likes Zoey. Plus Zoey is a wolf, she belongs with wolves. So we follow after her.
