Xander pov  I am so, so happy i have had my rosy by my side. But this past month and a half have been so hard without Kylie. I still feel her pain from time to time. It makes it so hard, yet at the same time this way i can still feel she is alive. The sun is going down right now, so i finally decide to leave my room. I make my way down the stairs and plaster a smile on my face. I make a cup of coffee, and walk outside. The other day my brother called me down to the clinic. Little did i know he had some big news. Mom was born a dragon. How exiting! Right? Sure. we bot our blood drawn, results back. I probably wont be able to shift into a dragon. Disappointing, thats what i am. Disappointment to the family. I cant even carry my mothers legacy. Im not actually upset about not having a dragon, i just want to make my parents proud. my mom would be proud if i had a dragon.  I sit on the bench gazing at the sight in front of me. I soak up the gorgeous view of the setting sun. while sipping at my steaming coffee. The beautiful hues of orange and purple paint the sky. The soft dark clouds accompany the colors. A tear falls down my cheek as i think about kylie again. I still feel at fault for this. She would be here, with us, right now if i had done something sooner. I should have noticed that she covers her body alot. I should have noticed that she has injuries, prior to combat class. I should have been able to tell her smile was fake. I should  have noticed the signs! I could have stopped her! I could have gotten her to see how much i care about her, as my friend. I could have saved her from her dad. Could have killed her dad…. My brother, Xavier, could have been with his mate already. Had i noticed what was happening. She wouldn't be in the mess she is in right now. Captured. I can only imagine what she is going through. There are so many bad people in this world! Tears are continuously rolling down my cheeks as i notice the sky has gone darker. The  Sky now is filled with a burnt orange that quickly fades into a smokey red. Small traces of the purple left behind, which fades into a shade of murky pink. The moon is now out, surrounded by dark shades of blues. Dark gray clouds creep through the night sky, as all the color vanishes from above. Leaving me under the bright moon, and many shades of blue. The stars began to glimmer, feeding off the moon. I love looking at all the constellations. Seeing what i can create with the stars above. I finish off my coffee and dip back inside to grab another cup. As soon as a pour the steaming black liquid in my cup, i head back outside. Taking back my warm seat. I continue my gaze at the sky. Admiring the outdoors. Wolves always feel more comfortable outside.  I lift my eyes to the moon, moon goddess. Please hear my plea. Please, please ensure kylie returns safe, and soon. Out pack needs her. My brother need her, i need her. I hope she hears me.. I drink down my coffee and place it beside me. I need to run. I strip out of my clothes, and jump. Shifting mid air. I land on all fours and shake out my fur. Then i bolt. Running at a fast pace i feel the wind through my fur. I run to the woods. Once we are covered by the blanket of trees we feel at home again. Even my wolf admires the scenery around us. The small critters we can hear, scurry away from us. The birds chirping flying over our head. The owls hooo sounds as they perch up in a tree. The small crickets chirping beneath our feet. He trots up a hill, turning into a rocky mountain. When he finally reaches the top, there is a nice flat area. he lays down, over looking the land below us. We lay there for while before he stands up. Tilting his head up he howls at the moon. He lays back down for a moment before we decide its late. He carefully goes back down the steep mountain and trots through the wood the same way we came in. still listening to the critters of the night. That was very peaceful. Just what we needed.  We finally see the main land again and job right in. he runs back over to the back porch where we dropped our clothes. I shift back and put my clothes back on. I grab my coffee cup, still sitting out here, and head back inside.  I am staying at my parent place most of the time right now. They are staying at the pack house, helping my brother. Sometimes i stay a few night there too. Once things are back to normal, me and my mate will have our own place. I cant wait for that. I walk inside and place my cup in the sink. Then i head up stairs to my room. Once i start to twist the handle the door flies open. And i see a very upset, and worried face. “Where have you been?!” oh boy, i'm in trouble. “Ugh, i went for a run..” “Do you have any idea what time it is??!” “Uugh. no-” “Its damn near 5 in the morning!” “Look, baby I'm so sorry. I just got caught up in my thoughts for a bit, and needed a run.” the tear weld up in my eyes thinking about that. “That's fine you went for a run. You just need to let me know..”    “I know, I'm sorry.” “Its ok now. Your safe. Was it kylie you were thinking about?” I nod. “We will get her back don't worry….but you should have let me know you were going out, that was a very naughty thing to do.”  She said the last part with a smile. Ooh. naughty girl, she's gonna be in trouble now.. “How about I make it up to you…”
