Chapter 36- great friends

Xavier POV

    We have already had a few mate ceremonies. So far they are a success. Many wolves have found their other half, and left with their mate that night. Except for me. My dear Kylie has yet to return. But I will wait for her. The next gathering is in a few days. Currently we are having wolves over every weekend in hopes they find their mate. However after this one we will be slowing. We will not host everyone from here on out. I will assist other packs so they can host it.

I have feared my plan for kylie has failed. Since she's not here, so i call one last time. Please moon goddess, let it work this time.

Kylie POV

    As soon as we get back from the mall i rush into my room. My chest starts to heave as i recall the events.

    “Alpha can't wait to have you” I shivered as I heard the voice in my head again.is it the alpha from legion souls?? Tears ran down my face as I thought what would happen if he had me again. He would be furious, because I got away. If he got me again the punishment would be unbearable. No. no. no. NO! I wrapped my arms around me, trying to comfort myself. But then I remembered his hands on me. STOP! Get away from me! I cried.

    Wind started to pick up as i remembered his hand sliding up my thigh. NO! I yelled as i tried to push his hand away. Things began to fly around to the room. I felt his lips press against mine. I jerked my head away from him. Leave me alone! vines started to creep up the walls. The plants began to grow rapidly making them ginormous. I could hear people talking but I couldn't make out anything they were saying. I felt heat coming from my hands, but I couldn't tell why. My chest started to burn, and I couldn't catch my breath. 

    All of a sudden I heard voices in my head. Ivy and Zoey asking what's wrong, and to calm down. It was too much for my head to handle. I put my hands over my ears and screamed. Make it stop! I cried. Then quick as a flash a calm scenery popped in my head. I saw legacy in front of me. She wore a sad look on her face but tried to smile. As soon as her foot raised to take a step towards me everything left. I screamed again as my hands felt cold now. Flashes of alpha Marcus came and left my mind. My chest rose and fell quickly as I tried catching my breath. But I still couldn't breathe. Tears streamed down my face as I grabbed at my throat hoping it would help bring oxygen to my lungs.

    Then I heard the most peaceful sound ever. Someone was humming a melody. Slowly I could feel myself beginning to calm. But then I heard a soft voice in my head, “hum along” so I did.

    The farther the song went on the more I calmed down. And finally when there was nothing left to hum my breathing was normal. I was no longer crying. I knew where I was and who was around me. I took a moment to open my eyes, but before I did I realized who was humming the song. 

    “Angel? What was that.”

    “Apparently it's another power we have. We will learn more with time, but for now this is how i can help you.”

    “Thank you.” I smiled.

I opened my eyes, but as soon as i did my jaw hit the floor. In Front of me was ivy, zoey, and legacy. But I wasn't looking at them. things were jumbled all over the place. Certain items were frozen in mid air. There were vines crawling up the walls, and the two plants in my room are massive. They are as tall as zoey, when before they were only the size of my hand.

    “What happened?” I looked at them all. Like how are there things frozen in air?

Ivy and Zoey shrugged but when I looked at legacy she smiled.

    “You just unlocked more powers.”

    “How many will I get??” I questioned her.

    “That I'm unsure of. But what I can tell you is that you won't stop gaining power here. There's more. And each one you gain, you have to learn to control.”

    “This is a mess” everyone nodded before ivy and zoey looked at me.

    “Kylie, what was the song you were humming?” Ivy questioned.  Zoey nodded wanting to know.

    “I'm not sure. It seems familiar but I have no idea where it came from.” I shrugged. I looked at legacy and see her eyes are misty. 

    “Are you ok legacy?” she giggled through watery eyes.

    “I'm fine.” I nodded.

    “I have a big mess to clean up.” I sighed.

Why don't you go shower and freshen up. Relax yourself for a bit.” That's a pretty good idea. I grabbed my clothes and headed to the shower. I sighed in content as the warm water hit my aching muscles. 

I feel weak that I have these flashbacks. And I don't want people to worry about me.

“Doll, you are not weak. You went through traumatic things. Anybody would have flashbacks like you. It's normal, and you're going to be okay. This does not make you weak! You. are. Strong!” I smiled as my wolf comforted me.

“Thank you angel.” she purred in response. 

I have great friends. I have a great wolf. I am a unique person. I will be okay.

“Yes you will.”

I got out of the shower and quickly got dressed. I walked back into my room and was in shock at what I saw.

    “Awe! Thank you guys.” I cried. I really did have great friends. My room was all picked up, everything was back where it needed to be. I walked over and gave them all a hug. I felt so connected to each of these souls, and I still have yet to figure out why. We all stepped back from the group hug as legacy spoke up.

    “One more thing. These plants. You made them this big, you can return them to their original size.”

    “But how?” 

    “Come on, plants are the first power you received. You can manipulate them, you did it here. Just reverse it”

    “Calm your mind. Relax your body. Envision them shrinking back to their normal or desired size.” ivy spoke.

    “Feel the connection to the plants. Will them back to size.” legacy added. I nodded and closed my eyes. I reached out for the connection with nature. Pictured my plants in my room and imagined them slowly shrinking. Once I pictured the normal size I waited a second and opened my eyes. Beaming as I saw them back to normal.

    “Yay! Thank you, you two.”

I was feeling pretty tired. Worn out from today. So the girls left my room and went out for dinner, while I laid down to go to bed. I closed my eyes and smiled as I thought of the next few days. I have new powers to work on! Wonderful friends to hang out with. A great trainer. But most of all, I felt something really big was about to happen. And it was good.
