Chapter 34- Hearing Gloria and Selene

Kylie POV

Learning that I can grow plants, and make small dirt tornados was the best feeling in the world. But in all, that's the only thing I can do. 

   I'm just fine being a simple plant guardian. In fact, I'm ecstatic! I can learn from ivy. My dear trainer is much more powerful than me. Even though I physically look down at her, I look up at her emotionally. She is strong, young, and powerful. She would make a great leader! 

   I laugh, she's literally meant to be a leader. Ha. It's written in the stars for her. I still wonder why she took it upon herself to train me though?..

   Zoey, ivy, and me are all walking into the packhouse. We will eat there while we wait in line. It's a win win. And I was right, there was a big line. We all sighed looking at all the people. We decided to temporarily split up, leaving ivy in line to hold our place. While me and Zoey went and got some food.

    Stepping into the kitchen there was a small line. No big deal, we simply waited till it was our turn. When it was, we stepped up and told them whatever they were serving for dinner was fine. We took back three plates on a tray to where we left ivy.

   I heard a rumor that some people would get denied a reading. Only if they weren't found worthy of it or if there was nothing to tell.

   We ate down the food as we worked our way through the line. Of course we had some small talk along the way. We laughed and giggled as we went through the line, munching on our food. Sometimes talking to the people around us. I grew more nervous as we neared the front. Occasionally you would see someone coming out of the room crying. It made my heart ache for them. But mine began to beat faster out of fear.

    I'm hoping to get some good news! Like maybe my mate truly wants me...or that my friends are all good. Maybe even where I can find my mom! Or even her 'new' mate. 

   Now all that would be news to my ears, but I can't hope for all good news. I know there are certain people after me, so information on how to beat them would be great. Maybe even what their intentions are so I can be two steps ahead of them.

     I've heard they have someone from a higher power that came down to speak with us, I've heard rumors about a witch, I've even heard it's the leader who has a goddess telling messages through her. And that the leader wouldn't be able to remember anything.

   First went in Ivy, after not returning for a few minutes I figured she wasn't turned away. A bit later she came out with a shell shocked look on her face. As soon as she laid eyes on me she broke out into a smile.

    "I knew it," she whispered. She finally came to me and said, "I knew I had a good feeling about you. You're right where you need to be." She said with pride.

    "Well!....what did she tell you?!" I pushed.

She smiled. "I want to see what Zoey is told first." Zoey raised a brow before heading into the room. I told her good luck as she went up the stairs into the room. A while later when she came out she wore the same look ivy had on her face. However she looked even more shocked. 

   She laid eyes on me, immediately she ran to me and gave me a hug. Her eyes watered up a bit and I heard her sniffle. She pulled back and smiled.

   "Thank you." She whispered to me, so many emotions running through her voice.

    "What did she tell you?!" My voice shrieked in concern. She only giggled before ivy spoke up.

   "Zoey, did she talk about kylie?" Zoey nodded.

   "For me, I was told that I made a great friend. I was told to keep you around, Kylie. Even Zoey. I was told you are both very special but they emphasized on Kylie. Kylie, she said some wonderful things about you, but also some...tragic things. Let's just say that I'm here to stay. You can depend on me Kylie." Ivy spoke while Zoey nodded. This time Zoey continued.

    "Yes she said that if it weren't for Kylie I wouldn't have found a way out. Of course I knew how to escape but she gave me the courage to. She told me to keep you around and always be there for you. She also told me that I will probably be following you wherever you lead us. And...that I have a special gift as well. It's just waiting for the right time to appear." We all teared up a bit as she spoke.

   I was about to speak up when I was called up there. It's my turn. I shivered as fear crept into my soul. Many great things were just told to my friends but they also said tragic things would happen...to me. I sighed as I dragged my feet up the stairs. Entering the room I saw the leader, one white eye, one a light blue/grey. Interesting…

“Kylie dear, come sit.” her voice seemed to echo two voices. I raised my brows in surprise. She only chuckled at my response.

    “I am the moon goddess. Selene, you have already met me.” the one and only moon goddess spoke.

    “And I am Gloria. The angel goddess. Mother to all angels. I thought it would be a good idea to have Selene present for this. Since she was involved with your making.” goddess Gloria chuckled.

   “It's nice to meet you goddess Gloria. Is there anything you can tell me about my future, goddess Selene, goddess Gloria.” i bowed. Showing that I respect them and they are higher ranks then I. first one to speak up was Selene, our moon goddess.

  “Well dear, a few years ago me and Gloria decided on your soul to be a hybrid. We both have many things to tell you, so be prepared. First of all your wolf is very powerful. I have hinted into your future before, today I will tell you more. Your wolf will give you power. So you will receive some strengths from her.

    Your bond must be strong to withstand your future. The more powerful you grow, the more people that will seek out your power. They will want you in ways they don't deserve. You must learn to control the power given to you, and do not use it for evil! I am unsure of what power your wolf can handle and take on, so she will decide what power you receive when you're ready. She will help guide you in hard times. Also, your friend Zoey. Keep her around, she will be one of your trusted allies, help her and all the others. That's all I can say.” Selene spoke.

    “My turn.” said Gloria in pride.

    “Your angel side is..one of a kind. When me and Selene here paired your parents up, we hoped the product would turn out just the way you did. You have taken on so much, and I'm so proud you made it this far. Your angel side has yet to come forth. But when she does you will be a force to reckon with. I don't want to spoil anything so i wont say anything related to your angel, besides she is more powerful than you think. So are you. Next I want to tell you  that the girl that has been training you, legacy, make sure to keep her around. She is much more than you think. You two will be very close in the future. You, my dear. Will change the future.” 

With that i was ushered out of the room. I was left a little confused. But my heart swelled in pride knowing I had some good friends, and a great trainer.
