Chapter 10- Captured

Kylie POV

It's been almost another week and a half. So now i have been on my own for almost three weeks. Me and my wolf have built a much stronger connection. I love angel. She's sweet, kind, sassy, bossy, supportive, and mysterious. Yeah, she is mysterious. She keeps telling me things, at random times, about power and strength, to get through this. She tells me this is my destiny but she also misses her mate. I miss him to. I just don't feel ready for him yet, I need to be whole again, be strong. Be..me. Whoever that turns out to be. I'm in human form again and I decided to try and find a river. I walked around for about 15 minutes till i finally spotted a nice stream. This area had a wonderful feel to it. It looked so magical. Maybe I'm hallucinating. Gosh, I could be! Anyway, the water was crystal clear, but with a sapphire blue tint. There is small pebbles all along the bottom. The pebbles are mostly whites with greys, and warm brown toned rocks. It was sunrise so the orange and pink hues glazed the water's surface. The light reflected and bounced off the small pebbles, giving them a tint to. There are giant trees that looked like they reached the clouds, at least from my angle. There are also some shorter trees. They look like they barley come off the ground. Of course there are trees of all sizes in between, It's just the giant and tiny ones that catch the eye. They also surround the stream for than the others. The short trees had vines falling off of them and dipping into the water. The water gently rippled as the slight breeze waved across the water. There looked to be steam gently rising off the top of the water. I slowly began to undress deciding I desperately needed to rinse off. Once I was free from my clothes I stepped in the water. Hmmm. I sighed. The water was so warm! It felt great on my aching muscles. I stepped all the way in, guiding my second foot into the water. I slowly walker deeper into the water. I stopped once the warm steamy water touched my neck. It felt like the stream was hugging me. I slowly dipped my head back. Wanting to get my hair wet. I probably had so much dirt in my hair! Ugh. That is not going in my book of achievements, I laughed. Once my hair was fully submerged in the water I guided my finger through the ratted mess. I gently massaged my scalp, and oh boy did it feel so good! I lifted my head back out of the water. I sighed again. This is just what I needed. I had a big smile plastered on my face as I got an idea. I took a step deeper into the water and bent my knees slightly. I fully sumgered myself into the water. I held My breath for a minute or so before I crouched down more, and pushed off the pebble floor. I sprang myself up kicking around and diving back into the water. I wanted to swim, so that's exactly what I did. I glided through the water like I was walking on my own two feet. I swam for a while. The sun was fully up by now and I decided I should probably get out. Hmm. I wish I didn't have to, I don't know the next time I will be able to do that. Or find water that warm! Goddess it felt so good. I wringed out my hair and got dressed again. On to my adventure again. The water helped me sooo much. I feel..energized. Like I just chugged a bunch of energy drinks. So I decided to start off with a run. A light run. I couldn't imagine being a human and running away like this. Us wolves don't get cold easily, bonus the woods are literally our home. When we become tired we can shift into our wolves, they are also faster so we can get much farther. Even better, we don't get as lonely, because we have our wolves to talk to.

“Always here doll.” Angel peeped in.

“I know. And I love it, I'm so thankful to have you!” I told her all mushy.

“Hey doll, now is not the time to go soft. We have a mission do to, so keep running!” Angel coached.

She really is amazing, I smiled. I love having my wolf. I just wish I could feel the same about my mate. A slim tear gathered in my eye and rolled down my soft cheek. What am I missing! I can feel it in me, there's something more I need to find, to do.

“You're destiny hun” Angel chimed in again. Her voice always calmed me. It sounded so, thick and mature. Yet also sweet and sassy.

I kept running as she instructed me to. Till suddenly the air got thick. My surroundings were uncomfortable. Something isn't right. I slowed my tread a bit and lifted my head. I took a big whiff, trying to get a feel of my surroundings. It smelled rotten and sour, not like a rouge, but still gross.

“RUN!!!” Angel howled in my head.

I took off in a deadbolt. However it still wasn't fast enough.

GRRRRRR. That's all I could hear. Wolves began to surround me. I gulped. No! I will not be weak! I can't live like that anymore. I took a step back and shifted. While angel told me to be careful. We shifted into our gray wolf, shredding our clothes. I let out a strong low warning growl. They all growled back, barring their canines. I could literally see drool stringing out of some of their mouths. I almost gagged. Ha! Imagine that my big wolf gagging. Ok maybe don't, it's still gross.

“KYLIE! FOCUS!” Angel rang in my head. Oh sh*t. Ok back to business. I let out another growl, stomping my paws lightly. There was a fairly large wolf in front of me that began to shift back. His wolf wasn't as big as mine, but whatever. He was decent looking, but not that great. And not even close to Xavier.

“Shift back.” This strange man commanded. I didn't feel compelled to but I figured I was out numbered and should cooperate. I tipped my head down geasuturing I would shift back. I took a small step back and shifted. I hated being naked in front of people. Especially men. Not all men are bad, but still. It's scary.

“I mean no harm gentlemen, I did not know I was trespassing. If you will let me, I will leave immediately and be on my way.” I spoke calmly, collective, and with power.

“Ha, you come onto our lands, and expect us to do nothing? Not gonna happen princess. Your coming with us.” The strange man in the front smirked. I silently gulped, this isn't good.

“We’ll get through this doll. Just be strong.” Angel angellicly chimed. Her encouraging words calmed me, knowing I at least have her. The wolves all shifted to their human form, and stalked towards me. One grabbed my arm, nother my leg, one even grabbed my hair. Wolves surrounded me till every limb was being held. They carried me back to their packhouse. They had blindfolded me along the way, so I didn't know where I was going. They suddenly dropped me on the ground and ripped off the blindfold. Not even inches in front of me stood two feet. Black shiny shoes. Charcoal grey suit pants. I slowly lifted my gaze. I wanted to glare, give him a piece of my mind. However I still had to be respectful, as I crossed onto his territory. I didn't mean to, but he may not believe that. As I lifted my gaze I began to see a well built. He looked bulky and stocky. Broad shoulders. He had short dark almond hair. That was buzzed on the sides. His eyes appeared black as the night. He had a strong jawline, and a death glare. It sent shivers down my spine.

"How are you doing princess." The man spoke coldly; evilly. Erg! I wanted to spit in his face! Princess? Realy?! He made me want to hurl.

"Just peachy, alpha" I said, venom laced in my voice.

"Girl calm down." Angel chimed in.

"Girl, this man freaks me out! I don't get a good feeling about him." I told her.

"Me either, but hang in there sis. We will get through this. And remember, there's still more to discover..we will protect you." Angel said, like she was hinting something..

"We?" I thought, but angel cut the link.

This whole alpha man glared at me.

"Well, if that's how you feel..why don't we get you settled in? Hmm." He sneered.

"Sure..where do I get the honor of staying." I sneered back. He smirked.

"Well princess, it's the cells for you. But don't worry, they will be nice ones." He laughed maniacally.

"But before you go..what shall I call you." Distugted! That's what I was. I wanted to sucker punch him.

"Girl don't do it." Angel made an appearance in my mind.

"Girl, i'm not gonna do it..I was just thinking about it. I'm not gonna do it." I replied back to her, contemplating what I could do.

"You better not." Angel said seriously.

Ugh. She's no fun!

I glared. "My name is Kylie. Please stick to that." I told him coldly. He grinned.

"Hmmm. Kylie. Such a beautiful name." He smirked.

"And what can I call you." I spit out.

"Mm. Princess, just call me Alpha. I love the way you say it." He spit out evilly. I shivered. Ugh!

"Take her to the dungeons," he laughed.

Two guards roughly grabbed my arms and lifted me from my knees. They drug me down the hallways. Taking a left, and another, till finally we go straight. The walls are deep brown and grey metal. Nothing on the walls. No decorations. Barely any light. Zero windows. The floor; concrete. Yeah, that's the best they could do. I scuffed. Going down this long straight hallway finally came to an end, as we turned right. Finally another 5 minutes of walking and in front of me is a large metal door.on the right hand side was a code box to unlock said door. One of the guards that are here to supervise, punched in some 5 digit code. He then leaned forward as a green line shined in his eye. Once it was done scanning his iris, bolts released the door. He reached forward and opened it. Making way for these guys to carry me through the doorway. I looked around and saw lines of cells. They took me down a long hallway turning left, and going straight. This hallway came to an end. They unlocked the cell door that was on the very end. I had a corner cell, great. I looked up and saw "section A 10" that's what the sign read. Once the door was open the two guards threw me in. Hitting my head on the way down, I knew, I wouldn't stay awake much longer.

"Stay with me angel." I begged teary.

"Wouldn't leave for the world hun. Sleep tight babe, we're gonna need it."

With that the darkness consumed me and my surroundings no longer mattered..
