Hybrid Alpha Mates

Chapter 27- The Meeting

Xavier POV

All the alphas and high ranks agreed the first discussion to be about mates.

    “There are many alphas without their Lunas, as well as the rest of everyone's pack members. To hopefully solve this, we will throw a mate ceremony.  Everyone invited, everyone welcome. We will encourage all pack members to attend. So, who will do the honors of hosting?” he same alpha spoke.

Everyone looked at me. Oh goddess. “Well, why doesn't Alpha Xavier host? After all he does have the largest pack in the US.” Another alpha spoke. I sighed.

    “Please remember I am 19.” I said in a flat tone.

    “Ya, 19 with the largest pack. Meaning you should also have the largest area. I'm sure the former Luna, your mother would love to help” Ugh. he's right, my mom loves these types of things. Wherever she can bring happiness she will.

    Fine. I can host. BUT, I need time to prepare. Also how about we do a few smaller ones, instead of one large one. Not everyone will make it to one event. So I would like to give everyone the chance to find their mate. I will notify everyone when all the preparations and plans are done.”

Everyone smiled. “Oh. also each pack can tribute to the food. I don't want to put my cooks through that much.” they all nodded, approving the idea. Good. My mother will plan most everything. Now that's settled, time for the next topic.

    Rogue sightings. "As I stated before, many packs have claimed they have seen rogue wolves, running in a pack. As everyone knows, that is unusual. Rogues typically run on their own, occasionally you may see a group of 5 or so. 

             However they have seen nearly 50 running. And the numbers seem to only be increasing. That's not even the strangest part. Each pack that has claimed they have spotted a 'pack' of wolves they also stated they smelled vampires. 

             Each and every person to report the rogues, all claimed they smelled vampires.

            As of right now we are very unsure of what to do. Nothing indicates a reason for rogues and vampires to work together. We need to get to the bottom of this or we will have another war to worry about. What are they teaming up for? Why are they running in a 'pack?' Also, what danger could be coming at us from this? 

          I need all of you to give me your word  that if those rogues and vampires attack, each and every one of you will stand beside any pack that needs help. If you have an Alliance with a pack, keep in tabs with them. 

       Make sure all packs are safe. Even for the packs you don't have an alliance with, stand by them. Alpha Xavier, as a respected leader you are of the US, I expect alot from you. 

      You have the largest pack around, as well as the strongest most lethal trained warriors, if something goes down I hope for your guidance. And I hope all other packs can seek shelter in your home." 

     I nodded my head.

     "Yes, any pack is welcome at my home. If you need anything do not hesitate to ask. We are here for you all. My pack will welcome with open arms. But do not dare to cross us. And I'm warning you all alphas, when my mate is to return, do not act all friendly. She is mine, and mine alone.”

Everyone's eyes widened and they nodded, all except for one.

    “Now if i remember correctly, years ago it was said that you were to be a very powerful wolf. However your Luna would be even more powerful….Is that true Alpha Xavier?” I growled.

    “Well, Alpha. I'm not sure yet. We will just have to see.” I replied in a daring tone. 

    “And what makes her so...special?”

    “And why should you get to have a powerful Luna.” I quickly rose from my seat, jumping to the alpha that dared talk about  MY mate.

    “You have no right to question the moon goddess! She is mine and that is final!” I yelled in his face. I watched as his face began to turn blue from my hand around his throat.

    “Now now Alpha Xavier. Please release Alpha Lucas. No one will touch your mate.” 

I nodded and released the pitiful alpha from my grip. Smirking as he dropped to the ground, slightly gasping for air. 

Returning to my seat I spoke again, “Let this be a lesson boys. She is mine, and I will do anything to keep her mine, and safe.”

Everyone nodded their heads

    “Alpha xavier. Who might your mate be? Some random alpha asked. I'm not sure why but as time went on, I felt more protective and commanding over wolves. Including alpha. It also felt like I am their alpha...but I'm not. Weird. My wolf smirked in my head. 

    “You'll see soon enough. Who might you be? Alpha?..”

    “Marcus. Alpha Marcus.” he almost fumbled his words.

    “Of what pack do you guide?”

    “Rule. I rule them, i dont guide them. They are of my command, Alpha Xavier.” Marcus said with a hint of venom.  Interesting.

Another alpha spoke up. “Alpha Xavier, if i'm not mistaken you said you are waiting for your mates return? Is that true?”

    “Yes.” I said simply.

    “Where is she returning from?” My anger began to rise. Why is he questioning me.

    “Alpha, I believe it is none of your business. 

    “Very well then everyone. I believe we can move on now?” The same wolf from earlier spoke again. I believe he said his name was Randall? I don't know, nor do I care. He continued.

    “So, everyone is to order more patrols on their packs. If you see anything suspicious then please report to either Alpha Xavier or myself.” Great i've been volunteered/

    “If you spot any peculiar, report it. Smell vampires close to your pack, report it. If you see this rogue pack running, report it. Let's try to figure out where they are staying, what they do. How they operate. And hopefully what their goal is. If you can, everyone needs 24 hours patrols. Adjust your cameras, or add more.” 

Everyone nodded, agreeing. This time I had something to say.

    “Everyone also needs to work more on training. Your warriors, as well as yourselves need to be training more. This should include your females, and omegas. Everyone should be training, except children under 16. If the mothers in your pack are able to train, encourage them to.”

    “Alpha xavier, why should our females and omegas fight. They are useless and weak.”

    “That is where you are wrong. Females are not weak. They can be just as strong as men. In Fact a few of my top warriors are women. And omegas are weaker, yes. That's because their wolves are more submissive. They aren't meant for much. But everyone in a pack should be able to protect themselves. They don't have to be on the battlefield. Alphas what happens if your pack is under attack, and they invade your home. Say your luna and child are inside. What do you think happens to them if they don't train? Your luna should be able to help protect your pack, but most importantly, your kids. If they don't train, consider your family dead.”

The room filled with growls. A few of the alphas' eyes turned black as they fought for control. The thought of losing your mate and children is the worst thing for a wolf. Even worse for an alpha.

Mumbles filled the room as they started to understand the importance of everyone training.

    “If you would like, Blue moon will happily assist any pack needing help with training.”

Most of the alphas in the room agreed to train the females and omegas. However some of these worthless piece of shits won't change their minds.

    “Ok. Now that is settled we need to move on to the last topic for today.” Randall spoke. 

    This is where my nerves kick in. Not only does this put me at risk, but my pack, as well as my mate. I am a hybrid. I'm also an alpha. How will they react when they find out a hybrid is leading a pack, AND his mate and luna is also a hybrid. Our children could be VERY powerful if they receive each side of us. But two hybrids leading a pack? That will definitely shake something up. And I can only hope it doesn't lead to a war.
