Dominic Waking up next to Quinn still felt surreal. Gently, I ran my fingers up and down her arm, causing her to stir slightly. When I heard a soft groan escape I laughed a little on the inside. She was always a bit grumpy when she got woken up.  “Good morning,” I said. She wrapped both her arms and legs around me and buried her face into my chest.  “Shh, it’s not morning yet.” Her words came out muffled.  “For one of us, it is. I have to get up and get ready. I just wanted to say goodbye to you while you were awake.” I put my hand on her back and placed it under her shirt.
