I pulled up to Lianna’s gate and pressed the call button. After a few moments I heard a familiar voice on the other end. “Quinn, what are you doing back here?”
“Mike, I need to speak with Lianna. Is she here?” He didn’t answer with words but when the gate opened I took that as a yes. When I got to the front door Mike was there waiting for me.
“I never thought I’d see you again. Why the hell would you come back here?” Mike was standing in front of the door with his hands folded across his chest.
“I need to speak with her. Are you going to let me in or not?”
“Don’t be stupid, Quinn.” He moved aside and let me in. “Go have a seat. She knows you're here.”
