Brittany has always been a shy and quiet young girl...she remains the same as time passed. Other kids would tease her for being so quiet, but It didn't bother her much...she liked being alone with her thoughts. She didn't really have alot of friends, but one or two kids her age would offer to play or hang out with her...she sometimes accepted their offers depending on how she felt about the person... in one kid in particular would ask more often than others...she wondered why "Would you like to play tag with me?" the other asked the Brittney...she thought It over before answering "Where should we start" was her answer...she stood up allowing the other to help...the girls smiled while introducing themselves to each other "I'll start...my name is Jessica...I'm thirteen years old, and I'm pretty sure we're in the same homeroom" Brittany giggled while smiling brightly at the fact that she may have just met a new friend. ~~ Brittany and Jessica started off their game of tag with Brittney being It...they met every day during recess and bonded tremendously, causing their friendship to grow. Jessica was the only person Brittany talked to or opened up to her...the other kids would ignore them altogether due to Brittney being extremely quiet and Jessica, in their opinions, was just plain old weird, them being outcast continued on all throughout elementary school...Jessica lived a few blocks away from Brittany. On weekends, they would meet up and hang out or, during summer breaks, they would go to local pools to just kill time and avoid the heat. They even attended the same middle school ironically, but didn't have the same homeroom as they hoped, but that didn't stop them from being friends...they always said that they would have an unbreakable friendship and bond. High school wasn't different thanks to their parents, who knew It was important for them to stay friends. They made It a priority to keep them together "Jess wake up! It's almost time to head out...we have to get to school on time, or we're going to be late...we can't miss the bus" Brittany yelled at her friends as she entered the others home and climbed the stairs two at a time...she would always stop by and wake Jessica up in the morning, but this was their first day in another high school due to them having to transfer so she wanted to start their day off right. ~~ When Brittney walked into her best friend's bedroom she grunted before tapping the sleeping brunette a few times before yelling loudly "GET UP JESS, PLEASE!" she yelled out, causing her sleepy friend to groan and whine for her to give her a minute to wake up. Jessica slowly slid out of bed, she eyed the clock on the wall and saw that she had five minutes to get herself ready, not bothering with a shower or even a measly wash-up in the bathroom sink. She began heading towards her closet when Brittany stopped her in her tracks. "Hold on, I got your outfit laid out. Just get dressed and brush your teeth so we can go" Brittany instructed, while laying said outfit on the queen-sized bed with a matching pair of shoes. She was always ready and prepared two hours early because she was just as bad as her friend was, maybe even worse. ~~ She always felt out of place and different from others, but Jessica always assured her that no matter what others thought of her, she would remain by her side "Finally, we just barely made It" Brittney released a loud breath as the bus slowly approached the stop...she gasped when she felt a chill run down her spine, she began to move close to her friend when she realized someone was watching her from where they stood...as soon as the bus stopped they climbed the steps quickly and took a seat. The ride wasn't that long, but Brittany felt herself feeling drowsy during the ride...she was slowly drifting into the darkness of her mind when suddenly a soft and masculine voice called out to her "You are mine..." It whispered, the smooth voice made her jump from her snooze causing her friend to look at her with worry "Are you ok Brit?" Jessica asked her as she shifted in her seat to make herself comfortable...she nodded and smiled, but the voice made her sweat just a bit...she didn't know where It came from or who It belonged to...she decided to just shrug It off while pulling her cellphone out and putting her earbuds inside of her ears, she began to relax as the music occupied her mind for the remaining of the ride.
