Chapter 5 He walked until noon and then headed back to the house in time for luncheon. His head was beginning to clear, and he was feeling more himself. He was surprised at just how much his father had influenced the way he felt about himself. He was shocked at the depth of shame that had swamped him, kept swamping him, but he began to think more in terms of how he could conduct a relationship with Daniel more than how much he needed to apologise.
