Heading to the ball

Alpha Samuel's Pov
I accepted the invite for the treaty signing ball with the blue moon pack. Our packs have never gotten along, and I think that it is time for a change. both of our packs are strong packs, and I would love to have that pack as an alliance but only time can tell
'Samantha' I mind link her
'yes father what's up' she replies
'have your mother inform the pack that we are headed to the blue moon pack right away.'
'yes sir' she replies
I pick up my phone to call Alex my beta to inform him to get everyone to come to the meeting room
"Alex has all pack members come to the meeting room in 5 minutes," I say as Alex answers the phone
"yes sir," Alex says
I clear my throat and wait for the crowd to calm down
"I have gathered you all here to inform you that we will be going to the new moon ball at the blue moon pack, and we are heading out in one hour, so get all your things together so we can go! that is it, thank you."
The pack members all head to their quarters to prepare their items for the ball. They have one hour to do so before we head out to the blue moon pack.
I hope that the blue moon packhouse can hold everybody from my pack since my whole pack is going. When my pack gets invited to events, I don't leave anyone member out of the event.
Samantha's POV
I am going through my closet trying to figure out what outfit I should take with me to the ball, and I have no dresses since, of course, I train daily with the men. Why would I need a dress for anyway its not like I enjoy dressing up.
"mom! I don't have anything to wear to the ball" I call out
"I think I may have just the dress for you," my mom says. my mother walks out of my room and comes back holding out her wedding gown which was all lace
"Mom its a ball, not my wedding," I say growling
I am thinking to myself that my mother must be crazy because she wants me to wear her wedding dress to the ball. but what can I say it is a very beautiful dress
"Don't you growl at me, Samantha Angelica White."
I look down, knowing that I was in trouble! That is the only time my parents used my full name.
" I am sorry mom; it's just I was hoping to wear that when I marry my mate."
"you will, darling! don't forget I am the moon goddess arent i" my mother says with a huge smile
"yes, mother, how could I forget."
Alpha Samuel's POV
After an hour, my whole pack meets up at the front gate of the pack territory, and we are now loading up into our cars so that we can head to the blue moon pack.
My whole pack is now headed to the blue moon pack; it is about an hour's drive from our territory to theirs. Both packs share one boundary line, but it is still an hour's drive.
After an hour of driving, we arrive at the packhouse, and the pack all gets out of there cars and are waiting to be told what floor of the packhouse they will be going to that way they all can get ready for the ball.
Selena, Samantha, and I head over to the Alpha's main house to get our room assignments.
"Samantha," I call out to my daughter " our rooms will be on the second floor, so go upstairs and get ready for the ball we have at least three hours before it starts."
"yes, father," my daughter says while heading upstairs being followed by her mother.
"Selena," I call out to my wife/mate, "make our daughter the most beautiful woman at the ball and hope she finds her mate tonight that would be a blessing."
"yes love and I know her mate is here," Selena says with a smile
Samantha's Pov
My mother and I are now in my room in the alpha quarters, getting ready for the ball we have a few hours before the ball starts.
My mother does my hair up in curly waves and puts half of it into a bun and leaves the rest of it framing my face. Now onto the makeup, which I leave as natural as possible
when my mother and I are done getting ready, we head downstairs to the ballroom. We meet up with my father.
"dad how do I look," I ask my father
"You look so beautiful, Samantha. is that your mothers gown" he asks me
"yes father it is mom insisted on me wearing it," I say
"well you are very stunning tonight I wouldn't even recognize you as my daughter," my dad says making me laugh
Night of the ball
Todd's POV
"Alpha who is that beauty in that white gown," I ask my father at the ball looking straight at Samantha
"that is Alpha Samuel's and Luna Selena's Oldest daughter Samantha," my father tells me
"dad," I whisper to him, "you mean Luna Selena as in the Moon Goddess?" I ask
"yes, son, the one and only."
All I can do is smile. I start smelling lilacs and the sea breeze and whisper "mate."
"what was that son?" my father asks me
"Dad my mate is here," I say
Selena's POV
I stand beside my husband/mate Samuel smiling from ear to ear
"You did it again didn't you?" my mate asks me
"it's my job to create mates love," I say still smiling
"Now, who will be Alpha of our pack if Samantha leaves?"
"You just need to wait my dear, and see how things go."
our daughter Samantha comes up to us smiling and looking as beautiful as ever
"mom this is a really beautiful ball," she tells me
"Not as beautiful as my daughter is looking tonight," I tell her
Samantha's POV
I am standing in the ballroom next to my parents wearing my mother's wedding dress, and I smell the most enchanting smell ever. evergreen and cherries
"dad," I whisper to my father, "do you and mom smell that?" I ask
"no honey what do you smell?" my father asks me
"it smells like evergreen and cherries," I say
as I say that my mom has a huge smile on her face that makes her look younger
I start following the scent until I get right to Alpha Bruce and his son.
"Good evening, Alpha Bruce. I am Samantha White! Alpha Samuel's daughter of the white moon pack it is nice to meet you" I introduce my self
"nice to meet you at Samantha!" Alpha Bruce says
I mind linking my mother 'mom what is going on why did I walk right up to the blacks' i ask her
'Samantha, your mate, is there' my mom says
'mother, you didn't.'

"Alpha Black, are you going to introduce me to the nice young man beside you?" I ask Alpha Bruce
"this here is my son Todd Black soon to be Alpha of my pack" he states
Todd starts staring at me with his eyes wide, and his jaw is slack
"like what you see Todd" Alpha Bruce asks his son
Todd nods
Todd's POV
I can't even speak my mate is so beautiful with blonde hair that reaches her knees and stunning blue eyes.
"h-hello" I stutter "I am Todd black nice to meet you, Samantha," I say
Samantha giggles and says, " nice to meet you too, Todd."

"Samantha, you are so beautiful," I say to her, "would you care to dance?"
"thank you, Todd, I would love to dance" she curtsy's
Samantha and I dance for hours when all of a sudden the Alpha and Luna of the white moon pack as well as my parents come up to us smiling
"Hey, Dad, what's with the smile?" I ask my father
"would you and Samantha please come with us to the stage?" my father asks me
Samantha and I just look at my father like what is going on here
then we follow our parents to the stage
Alpha Bruce's POV
We got on stage my mate Celeste is next to me, and on my other side is Alpha Samuel and Luna Selena. Todd and Samantha are next to the stage, waiting to be called upon.
"Attention," I say in my alpha voice, and both packs become quiet and look up to the stage.
"We have an announcement to make," I say, getting everyone's attention from both packs.
"as you all know from the blue moon pack that we were trying to make a treaty with the white moon pack," my pack nods their heads while the white moon pack looks around in confusion.
"we will be back with a decision in a few minutes until then you can go ahead and party."
