The next day, after dropping instructions, Theodore and Mason left to go to their camp, where they would start making plans for the attack.
They left Finn behind and a few capable guards behind to protect the pack.
Aletta woke up for school with sore eyes. Throughout the night, she couldn’t sleep well knowing that Theodore was already experiencing the mate bond.
When she heard Theodore’s car drive out, she waited for some minutes before she rushed out. The first thing she did was leave the house to go find Conner.
She arrived at his house and sighed that he was around because she knew he would be going to protect the borders soon.
“Conner!” She whispered into darkness and Conner opened the door, still drowsy from sleep. He looked at Aletta who wasn’t her usual self.
