My sharp eyes looked around the mountain. Everywhere was dry and filled with caves. These were the caves my ancestors used to hide whenever they were attacked but most had crumbled already.
“Search every cave. There must be one cave where she’s in. They can’t take her out of the pack so they must be here!” I instructed all the guards and with their torch, they began leaving in pairs.
The mountain was a large one and searching the lower caves would take weeks but even if it would take years to find her, I’m willing to do that.
No guard would leave this place! We would stay here for a full month and see how they plan to take her out or escape without being caught.
