I whirled around and spread my arms just in time for Amber to throw herself on to me. I stumbled back and would have fallen but the guard assigned to me broke my fall with a hand to my back.
"Careful" he glared down at Amber as he reached out to pull her away from me
Amber shrink back in fear as she took two steps away from me, "I'm sorry" she apologized
