Chapter 15
A MOMENT LATER, Holly burst into tears again. She put her hands over her eyes, trying to hold back the flood of tears and the pain. It did little to help. She made a cry of anger, stood up and grabbed something from the coffee table. Stomping around the end of the sofa, probably headed for the bathroom door.
Rory could hear the anger and anguish in her sobs. He was about to let her go and then realized what was about to happen. Turning quickly, he placed one hand on the back of the sofa and vaulted over to the floor on the other side. Several quick strides put him right behind Holly as she was about to disappear into the bathroom. He reached down and put a steel grip on her wrist.
Holly turned, baring her teeth and growling at him, "Let me go." She struggled to free her wrist
