Chapter 18
WHEN RORY CAME BACK down the hallway, he set one of the two shopping bags down, knocked on the hotel room door and picked the bag up again. Holly didn't come to the door. Rory retrieved his key card from a pocket and unlocked the door. Propping the door open with a foot, he moved inside, letting the door close behind him with a clunk. The bathroom door was open a crack. Steam was pouring out and he could hear the shower running. He headed across to the desk, set the bags down and headed across to the coffee maker. He had downed half the coffee and had the laptop set up and plugged into the Internet by the time the shower shut off and the bathroom door opened.
