Chapter 24 IT WAS DEFINITELY a long night for Holly as she sat with her feet tucked up under her in one of the big chairs until the small hours of the morning. Her elbows rested on her knees and she held her head in both hands as the hours passed. Then she wandered off into her bedroom, quietly closing the door behind her. The night was long for Rory as well, as he stayed on watch to make sure she didn't try to hurt herself. Even when she wandered off into her bedroom, he stayed lying on the sofa, not wanting an extra door or extra distance between the two of them.
