Chapter Twenty-Four: A Mother's Words Of Wisdom

912 Words
"Beverley. Beverley. Beverley, arise from your bed," her mother ordered in the spirit world, "I brought you back here to the spirit realm, so we can discuss discourse going on in both your life and Fiona's. You must persuade her to stay with Blaine. Continue encouraging her not to give up on him. Tell her there is much more to the matter than meets the eye." Beverley turned her head towards her mother's direction and slowly climbed out of bed. "Mother, I did just that yesterday. I will continue to encourage her to stay with him, but I also don't want to antagonize her. Right now, she needs some space to make her own decisions. I want to see how she will deal with the situation, and give her a chance to make her own mistakes. When she needs me, I'll definitely be there for her. I told her I'm here for her when she needs me, and when she wants to talk some more." "I agree, Beverley. It is best to let her make her own decisions, even if she makes mistakes. This young man is very important to her life. I can only tell you of a book called Bithlar's Texts Of Prophecies. It was written by Bithlar, himself, many moons ago. Practically over a billion years ago. I've read the book and so did your father. But I can't tell you where it is. I can tell you it covers his experiences in the monastery. Which one, I can't reveal. I can tell you it is written in the form of a diary where he shares his wisdom, philosophy, predictions, all those things contained in the valuable pages. For day seven of his stay, he talks about a young woman who faces difficulties in her relationship with a young man. He did not reveal any names. There are other predictions pertaining to Fiona and Blaine I can't tell you. All such things must be revealed when they are ready to unfold. It is important to let things unfold as they may. But you must discern when it is best to step in from time to time offering your sister guidance, and when it is necessary to allow things to happen on their own as they will. I can't stress the importance of your role," her mother said firmly, while moving closer to her, "Your sister must be prepared for her role. She's too important to the world." Beverley put her hand to her head in frustration, saying, "How can I tell my sister these things? I'll have to show her some proof what I'm saying is the truth, mother. What can I do to verify I'm telling the truth?" Putting her hands on Beverley's shoulder, the woman told her, "There is a pendant at the bank. It belonged to Bithlar. When the time comes, you will go to the bank, remove it from the vault, and give it to her. You remember when I took you to the bank with me on the day I put it into the safe deposit box at the bank. You know where to find the keys to the safe deposit box. When the time comes, you will get them. Resin will find you when the time comes to go to the safe deposit box and get the pendant. Do you understand, my darling daughter? You must fulfill your role as your sister's guide in life. Not only as her guide but as her mentor." Dropping onto the bed, Beverley brought her hands over her eyes as tears flooded her face. She trembled while crying hard. "How can I do all this when my cancer is plaguing my life? The surgery I had two and a half months ago didn't take well. My cancer came back. I went to the hospital yesterday for chemotherapy. I hadn't told Fiona yet. How can I tell her in her fragile state?" "My dear daughter, she is stronger than you realize. Much more than even she realizes. I was near the both of you some hours ago when she cried over the young man Blaine because she believes he betrayed her. Let her go through her emotional anguish. Be there for her. But also have faith in her she will overcome these grievances. Know your father and I will be here for you to guide you. I'm guiding you the most right now. When the time comes, your father will step in to offer guidance and his words of wisdom. Don't be afraid. You must overcome your fear. I can't stress enough the importance of your sister fulfilling her destiny. As I've told you, Blaine is very important to your sister's life," the woman urged Beverley, stroking her shoulders. "I vow to do what I can to make sure Fiona fulfills her destiny. I'll only interfere when necessary, and when she asks for my help. However, when she needs me to guide her, and does not ask for my help, I'll know when to step in to offer comfort and words of wisdom. I realize I've been prepared from a young age for this role. I remember all the things you and father told me when I was a small child. I'll do as you ask of me. I only want what's in my sister's best interest," Beverley cried, wiping away the tears with her hands, as she was guided back into the earthly realm by her mother.
