Kaius Thorn POV "I'm Tom Sanders, and good evening. This episode of the daily show is being cut short as we bring you breaking news of a highway vehicle collision involving several fatalities. Now that Sharon Beckley-Bluefield, one of our own, is on the scene, let's go to her live page for more information. Sharon? Hi, Tom! What information do you have, Sharon? Well, Tom, this place is a real circus. Good evening, everyone. Ms. Sharon Beckley Bluefield is here, reporting live from the scene of a major vehicle collision on the road leading to the Golden Gate Bridge. As more bodies are discovered in the rubble, the death toll keeps rising. Sharon, does anyone know how many vehicles were involved in the collision? So far, the total has added up to 92 vehicles, Tom. Really, 92? Any information regarding what caused this crash? According to our sources, this seems to have been caused by an attack on the Golden Gate Bridge earlier this evening, Tom. Has anyone claimed responsibility for this attack, Sharon? According to our source, it seems to be yet another attack by the man known only as Silas Moros. He has yet to make any demands, as his presence plagues our city and his true identity still remains a mystery. Back to you, Tom. Thank you Sharon. Once again, we urge the citizens to please contact their local archives if they have any knowledge on Silas Moros. We now return to your regularly scheduled TV program." What a load of bullshit ! Foolish individuals will always find a way, I guess. I ruminate while I switch off the television. Once more, they hold me responsible for an attack that was unrelated to me or my crew. Silas Moros is the nation's foremost opponent. They just dislike me because they are told to by the media . Every month they find aome made up s**t and I am accused of doing something heinous. When there is a terrorist act, it turns out that I was the one who carried it out. It's ironic, I must say, to think that my attack style isn't actually all that tacky. They'll regret doing this. As Dylan enters my office, I smile. Boss, did you catch the news? He makes the usual nonchalant inquiry while grabbing an apple from the fruitbowl. I watched it, and Dylan, they will pay severely for it. I'm past warning them Dylan its time to strike. I get up from my seat and walk over to dylan. Well f**k me aren't we in for a treat then. Remind me to never get on you bad side Kai. I gaze at him, knowing full well that he is aware of what is coming. Dylan, get the plane ready. I believe it is time for a brief vacation. I grab my stuff as I aim to leave my office. Fine but you do have that meeting with your brother later today. Cancel I have bigger fish to fry. I walk out of my office contenplating what course of action will be most effective as a statement to the media because this is the last time they blamed me for a mayhem that I had no part in. from now on they will learn what Mayhem is. They will finally know what Moros stands for and why it became my name in the first place.
