“What new evidence?” elder Grayson demands.
“Just hold on a moment, fellow elder,” Frank shushes him. In walks my mate and again my eyes are glued to her, the guards sit her down. I can see the pain on her face as they attempt to shake her, “no need for those, miss Lyla has already showed they are useless. Besides she came back here willingly, I don’t believe she will be moving.” The guards step away and she appears grateful. This is the first time I have seen her hurt like this, it’s killing me to be so far away. “Miss Lyla, I assume you are happy to take the serum provided by Queen Mirabella” Lyla nods at Frank and Mira makes her way over.
I can see they have a whispered discussion, and Mira touches Lyla nodding before helps Lyla open and drink the vial. My mate cries out
