When Lyla walked into the room it took my father and Luke holding my arms to stop me going to her. She’s has smears of dirt on her face where she has wiped tears away, her clothes are wet and muddy. She’s even shaking and goosebumps run along her forearms, it must be really cold down there. Her eyes are what almost made me want to kill someone they’re red from crying and the look she gives me is broken. I need to hold my mate comfort her, protect her from all of this.
