The moment Cassandra even got close to Lyla I was running towards them and the she slapped my mate. The only reason I didn’t rip her apart right there was my need to console my mate. Once addressing them however I stormed off ordering Cassandra to my office and asking Lyla to follow me. The look on Cassandra face when she realised we were mated was somewhat amusing. Lyla didn’t seem to care she didn’t even look, all she wanted was me. I more then happy with that, after our long nap we got ready to meet the vampire king.
We walked through the forest hand in hand both stealing glances at each other. My mate is quite mesmerising under the moon light. Waiting at the arranged meeting spot things became awfully quiet. Expecting king blood sucker himself to walk out, he doesn’t. I
