After class, I invited Sophie to have dinner with me. Her deskmate wouldn't let her go alone, so she joined us, and then Tyler joined too. Since Tyler was coming, I added Gaoshang as well. Originally, the other four from my dorm were supposed to come too, but since there were only two girls, I decided against it. It would be counterproductive if they got scared away; having two girls join us was already a stroke of luck for them.
I'm becoming less and less afraid of unfamiliar environments...
When we arrived at the cafeteria, Tyler and I went to buy food, while Gao Shang, Sophie, and Xiao Shu (Sophie's deskmate) went to find seats. The reason we went to buy food was because we dared to cut in line, ignoring the curses from others.
At the time, it felt so cool; now, it seems ridiculous.
