That's really ruthless—stay single forever! "It's fine if you paint for me, but what do you mean by tearing up her painting?" "I just can't stand her attitude. What kind of goddess is she?" Molly pouted, her face full of displeasure. I was starting to understand. Two tigers can't share one mountain, and even beautiful women are no exception. But I just felt Molly was acting crazy. What did Sophie ever do to you? Why are you talking about her like that? A shameless s**t like you, how dare you talk about her! But I wouldn't say anything. If I did, the rest of the class would be in chaos again. I still drew her a picture, just to get it over with, but since Molly's image was already quite vivid in my mind, it was fairly lifelike! "Write 'Presented by Luke,'" Molly ordered me again. I scribbled my handwriting haphazardly, and it actually looked a bit like a flowing, flamboyant style. Back then, I liked cursive writing; I thought it was particularly elegant. But after I learned it, it wasn't all that great. After finally managing to appease Molly, she started talking again, "That boy wants to sit with me?" That boy, I get it, proximity breeds affection! I'd been sitting next to Molly for about a month now. Although our relationship had been strained, people who spend a lot of time together always develop some feelings. She hadn't helped me, but she hadn't harmed me either. Although I got into a fight because of her, that's the charm of girls—it's always been that way! The thought of others taking advantage of her from time to time and constantly arguing with her made me feel uneasy. "I can't keep being so pathetic," I silently warned myself. "Whatever, I don't care where I sit, as long as the homeroom teacher agrees." My meaning was clear: I had already given my consent; he just needed to go and coordinate with the homeroom teacher. Besides, it's behind Sophie, not bad at all! Molly stared at me blankly. "Hmph, you really are fickle, liking me and Sophie at the same time." I got annoyed that she kept bringing this up. "Fine, I don't like you anymore." The two of them chattered on for a whole class period, just trying to get rid of me. Thinking about it, I felt uncomfortable too. "You really don't want to be my deskmate anymore?" Molly asked sullenly after a pause. "You've already discussed it with Renjian, is it really necessary to ask this question again? Please let me know beforehand if anything comes up in the future. Oh, never mind, we won't be deskmates anymore." Molly didn't say anything, and I started drawing again. During the second break, I saw Molly go to find that boy. Pshaw, what's there to discuss? It's just switching seats! Damn, ever since Molly bothered me, I've lost all my inspiration. No way, I have to finish my drawing properly during the last self-study period. I went to the restroom, and Molly was already back in her seat. I ignored her, afraid she'd bother me again. But what I feared most came true. Molly spoke up again, "Don't you want to know what I talked to him about?" Ugh, will this ever end?! "Hey, can I finish this drawing before you talk?" "Hmph, I curse you to never be able to draw anything!" I was so angry I was speechless. I buried myself in my drawing again, huffing and puffing. Finally, I finished. I looked up at the blackboard behind me; there were only three minutes left before class ended. I quickly packed up my desk, ready to leave as soon as get out of class was over! "Let me see it!" Molly said again. I ignored her. I knew she'd be furious if she saw it, because this drawing was far better than any haphazard attempt I'd made for her. The bell rang. I watched Sophie and her deskmate walk away, and I chased after them. "Stop!" I jumped in surprise. A very cute girl called out to me from the classroom doorway, her tone tinged with anger. "Who are you? Don't block my way! I have things to do!" I tried to shake her off and run. Why are there so many crazy people these days?! "Luke, you dare run away!" the little girl gritted her teeth behind me. Looks like she wasn't mistaken; she even called me by name. I finally turned around. Just then, Molly came out. "What, didn't you go after your sweet older sister?" she said, then looked at the girl with me. "And this is?" "My wife," I said curtly. Molly pouted. "Wow, you've got quite a wide entanglement, haven't you?" "Compared to you, I'm nowhere near as good." Molly glared at me after my sarcasm and walked away. "Who's your wife? How can you be such a scoundrel!" After Molly left, the cute little girl and I started walking back. Even though she was so adorable, I wasn't any taller than her, and I started feeling inferior again. "Hey, who are you anyway?" I looked at her; she seemed familiar, but I knew I definitely didn't know her. "Hmph, you really forgot, you bad guy." The little girl hit me; it didn't hurt, it even felt a little good. I finally remembered. "You're the little one from the playground the other day?" "You're the little one! A boy who's not even as tall as me, and you have the nerve to say that?" The little one was very dissatisfied. "Hmph, I'm only fourteen now. By sixteen, I'll definitely be taller than you." I paused, then started to get scared again. "You didn't use your beauty to lure me somewhere, and then get some boys from your class to ambush me, did you?" Because I've ambushed others before, I have to be careful. The little girl gave me a disdainful look. "Your thoughts are really filthy. I've already let it go." Damn it, I didn't believe her. "If you've let it go, why did you come to me?"
