Yavana POV
Since the day I delivered Elijah the bento box, I haven't seen him in days. When I told him I was only giving him kindness because I didn't want to be indebted to him, I noticed a glimmer of hopelessness in his eyes. I immediately avoided looking at him because I didn't want to feel bad about it. It wasn't until he kissed me that I understood why he was teasing me. I assumed it was only because he didn't like me, but I soon realized he wouldn't buy me ballet shoes just because he was annoyed by my presence; I'm not so numb that I won"t notice his feelings for me.
