Chapter 23
"Aghhh ..!" I moaned as my eyelids hurt from lack of sleep. I peered out my window and saw the sun was rising; it also seemed as if the storm had passed. "GOD!" I sighed to myself once again. I was up the whole night wondering about yesterday's event. A while back, it seems as if we've been playing in the rain, and now I'm the one who is most affected by the two of us.
"Yavana, breakfast and your school lunch are prepared. I wrapped your friend's as well; there are already two pairs of tupperware here; get up there." I became even more annoyed since I was still required to attend class.
However, I rose immediately in response to what my mother said. I couldn't offer Elijah the lunch my mother cooked since it seemed too awkward. Or maybe I'm just the one feeling uneasy.
