Kayla POV
I groaned and slowly opened my eyes, surprised to find myself lying on a soft bed. I rubbed my eyes, hoping it was just a dream, but reality set in. The last thing I remembered was Ace carrying me in his arms as we planned to leave the forsaken realm. I must have fallen asleep in Brian's arms.
"Hello?" I called out, pushing myself up from the bed. As I headed towards the door, I caught sight of a mirror and inexplicably stopped in front of it. I slowly lifted my shirt, a smile forming on my face as I saw the growing bump on my stomach. "My babies," I whispered, gently rubbing my stomach. Lost in my own world, I didn't notice someone entering the room until I caught their familiar scent and felt their arms wrap around my waist.
"You're awake," Brian murmured, nuzzling my hair
