Ace POV
"Hey!" Liam's annoying voice echoed as he barged into my room without bothering to announce himself or knock. Startled, I jolted upright and accidentally nudged Brian, who was lying on the other side of the bed with Kayla nestled between us. I tried my best not to wake Kayla, but she blinked her eyes open and sat up, wrapping the blanket around her body as she fixed her gaze on Liam.
"Why shouldn't I just kill you right now?" I asked him angrily, locking my eyes with his. "Tell me why..."
Liam hushed me before I could finish. "I'm sorry to interrupt whatever you three were doing," he paused, searching for the right words. "But we have a huge problem. Father is planning to attack the Forsaken Realm," he informed us.
At the mention of the Forsaken Realm, Kayla sprang to her feet
