Chapter Thirty-Nine
Diane wasn’t home when Maggie pulled in. Ryley said nothing as he frantically clutched the seat belt across his chest. Maggie leaned back and really looked at Ryley, with his pale face, staring like any frightened child whose world had been rocked again.
