• Sitting on his perch in the axial catwalk Ryland sees a flash of light on the walkway below, “Alice, something just arrived I am moving in to get be better view.” Static comes through in Ryland’s ear and Alice’s voice cackles through, “Can you hear me? You are barely coming through. I am experiencing some kind of seismic disturbance here – standby.” and the radio falls silent. Ryland hesitates for a moment then leaps from his perch landing on the walkway. As he lands there is a ‘glitch’ in his holographic-cloak and Ryland stands there fully visible in his armor.
