Rowena I don't know how long we have waited. "At the tree line." Someone calls out. I look toward the tree line, I see a familiar sandy colored wolf streak across the yard toward the house. As she runs past me, I catch a glimpse of crimson splashed over her fur. Aria needs me, so I can't run after her to make sure she's fine. I hope the others are okay, but I get the feeling that something has happened. Aria has been silent this whole time. Her face is pale, and the tears still haven't stopped falling. She still clutches her chest as though there is a wound there. I also notice that there is a place within myself that feels empty. I felt it the same time Aria went down. I don't understand what it means, and I can't help the fear that something happened to my mate somewhere. I feel a hand
