When it was May's turn, it doesn't last long and she comes back to the room distraught. She was crying heavily and hugging herself as Nova guided her into the room. Her parents managed to undo the cloth that was over their mouths and started spewing crap at her. They yelled at the council about how she is an ungrateful child and how they were discipling her, not abusing her. The council knows about her scars and wounds so they knew her parents were lying, but it was still too much for her.
