THE SUN WAS SETTING, on an early winter day in Melbourne. The red and orange hues faded in the sky, darkness nestling in.
“See you back at the ‘Borough. I’ve gotta make one more stop, then I’ll follow you.”
The Betas nodded their understanding and Grayson jumped into the cab of his truck. He drove to the computer shop to pick up his new laptop, then returned to the truck with one destination in mind.
