I finish out the week doing nothing. Omar's a good teacher. But he doesn't remember he's supposed to be teaching me daily. My dance class is over. There's no play practices. I enjoy doing nothing in my office. Then I get bored and research all my maps of Egypt.
On Friday, I get summoned to Dipak's office. Collin's here. But so is everyone else. Probably talking to him about Lynn or Leo. I sit beside him, and he puts his arm on the back of my chair. Then I move my chair closer.
Jack carries Mary in. She is laughing her ass off.
Dipak jumps at her. She screams and climbs on his back.
Jack sits down. "That's probably fine."
Collin, Andy, and Oliver crack up laughing.
"Not so much. I have to do the room stuff."
"Well, you did it when you jumped like that. You know better. Your fault."
