Chapter Five: The Spell is Broken

272 Words
Elias returned to the clearing by the pond, where the full moon cast its silver light over the land. He stood at the water's edge, holding the crystal and the flower, and called out to Luna. "Luna, my love! I have completed the trials. I am ready to break the spell." The water of the pond shimmered, and Luna appeared, her gown of moonbeams glowing with an otherworldly light. She stepped onto the shore, her eyes filled with hope and love. "Elias," she whispered, her voice trembling. "You have done it. You have proven your love and your worth." Elias approached her, holding out the crystal and the flower. "What must I do to break the spell?" he asked. Luna took the crystal and the flower from his hands and held them close to her heart. "With these symbols of your courage, resolve, and love, I will break the spell that binds me." She closed her eyes and began to chant, her voice rising and falling like a song. The air around them seemed to shimmer, and a soft, golden light enveloped Luna. The light grew brighter and brighter, until it filled the entire clearing. Elias watched in awe as the spell began to unravel, the ancient magic that had bound Luna for so long dissolving in the light of their love. Finally, the light faded, and Luna stood before him, free and radiant. She smiled, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks. "The spell is broken," she said. "I am free." Elias took her hands in his, his heart overflowing with love and happiness. "We did it, Luna. We are free."
