"I love you Mirabel",Alex said while kneeling in front of Mirabel, every one in the hall was in awe, every one stood by to watch what is going to happen next,Mirabel looked at Alex who is till on his knees staring right into her eyes as if pleading with his life for her accept his proposal.

Mirabel move an inch to Alex and whisper in his ear,a No.

Even though it was just a whisper it was loud that everyone in the hall way can hear it, the students let out an embarrassing sound,a drop of tear slip down Alex eyes and he got off his knees and walk away,after Alex left the hall way everyone turned their gaze to Mirabel and started whispering ,some were even eyeing her,Mirabel felt embarrassed she couldn't move and was rooted to that same spot she just rejected the most handsome guy in the whole school,"Hey baby,what with that look on your face",Angel said running up to Mirabel,she did not reply and kept staring at the floor,Angel noticed something was amiss with the way the student gathers around and seeing Mirabel behaving awkwardly ,she chased the students in the hall away,"Don't you have classes to attend",she said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice,the student made their way out of the hall quickly, every one is afraid to pick up a fight with Angel so early in the morning.

Angel gently drag Mirabel to the class,when they got to their sit,Mirabel brought out her jug and drank water,she felt calm a bit and regained herself ,she looked at Angel and hugged her tightly,"Thank you for showing up",Mirabel said in her tiny and sweet voice.Angel just smiled and asked what happened at the hall way,Mirabel narrates how Alex went on telling her epistles of love and how he asked her to be his girlfriend all for her to reject him in front if so many students,"I don't want him but I still got embarrassed rejecting him out there,I feel sorry for him",Mirabel said in a dejected voice.Angel gently Patt her back and said in a whisper"My baby,you don't have to feel bad for anyone ,Yog just did what sit well with you,you should be happy right now,because if you have accept him just because you don't want to be embarrassed out there,then trust me that would have been a long life regret my dear", Mirabel hugged her once again,Angel has always been gentle and caring towards her,she feel safe whenever they are together,Angel is her safe heaven.

They brought out their textbooks and started reading,after the first period they both went for lunch,Mirabel and Angel sat together eating happily and gisting about their favourite television show, suddenly some voice interrupted them,some girls came and sit in the same dining table with them,they kept throwing Mirabel a mocking gaze,Angel noticed that Mirabel suddenly became timid and she stood up,"you better eat the hell you want to eat and get your f*****g ass off this sits ,and stop f*****g Looking at us",Angel screamed and bang the table with her spoon,the girls got afraid and quickly evacuate the sits with their food,Mirabel tugged at Angel clothe that was when Angel sit down back,"Thank you for doing that but you don't have to curse them",Mirabel said calmly."I am sorry my baby,u hate it when those girls talk s**t or misbehave to you",Angel said with a stoic face.

Mirabel just smiled and continue eating,even though they are two world apart ,both of them understand each other more than anyone else,people would always wonder how the two of them became friends when the attitude totally differ,Angel is short tempered and very stubborn,while Mirabel is timid ,gentle and easy going.But who knows,they were created for each other.

On their way back into the classroom after lunch,Alex and his friends were also returning to their classes ,Alex and Mirabel looked into each others eyes briefly,Mirabel quickly look away,she still feel bad about what happened in the morning. Alex decided not push harder the first time ,he has the minds set that he will ask her out again, probably she was overwhelmed Theis morning.

Alex is also a 11th grader but in different departments,he his known as the most handsome guy in the whole school,who would have safe reject him but he does not even have the time to wear his pride for now,he his madly in love with Mirabel and will continue to chase her until she finally become his.
