I had just spent the last two hours on the phone with the PI that I hired to locate Chris and she wasn’t producing any results. Sandra had no luck so far and I was getting frustrated with her. I had hired her a year ago and still nothing. I don’t understand how he had managed to fall off the face of the earth, but he did. No one had heard from him or Korbin’s mate that disappeared with him.
I was sitting in the office that Liam gave me when he took over for his father with the council. While Liam may have run the group, he wasn’t a part of the council and Alex still had a say over things. He was ready to completely retire just yet. I have gone on a few missions and will be going on more with them now that we’re back and Ella will be going.
