Ella’s POV
“Calm down. This was Tyson’s request. He said that when things went down with Chris, he wanted you cut off from it.”
“Why would he do that?”
“He didn’t want you to see what happened in case it turned out bad. I understand it. I need you to stay here with your mother.” He said and my heart fell.
He was out there in trouble, and he thought he could keep me from seeing this or going with them to help; he was sorely mistaken.
“That’s not happening. Come on, we need to go.”
“I figured that’s what you would say. Come on, everyone is loading into the SUVs.”
I was thankful that my dad didn’t fight me on this because he wasn’t going to win and when I get to Tyson, I might just kill him myself for thinking he could do that.
