CHAPTER - 8 ( FRIENDS ? )

"I'm sorry," Mr. Jung said those words, out of guilt

"What?," Tae asked, as he thought he heard something wrong and to make it conform whatever he heard

"I'm really sorry, Tae , I didn't mean to hurt you , I really didn't know about you're fami....." Oh ! that pet name surely did something in Tae' stomach, he could feel butterflies in his tummy, but he ignored it and cut off Mr. Jung in the middle , whatever he was blabbering.

Sir, Tae said, making Mr. Jung looked at him, Tae knew what his sir was talking, so he continued, " it's OK, and how would you know, it's your first day here , and beside that, I don't mind now, as I don't even remember my parents", he said little smiling

Mr. Jung surely didn't notice the pet name he just gave, but he did notice the smile that wasn't the same bright smile as before making him ask another question, " Are you ok? "

Tae answered ," Yes, sir, I'm ok ," Now, avoiding the situation, he asked as he remembered that his sir needed his help in something, " What do you want me to help, sir

Mr. Jung got it that he wanted to avoid the situation, so he played along as he answered the truth. " Nothing, I just wanted to apologize, I was feeling guilty about earlier."

Tae made a face like" ohh" and was about to leave by greeting the male in front of him, but it was stopped by Mr. Jung.

"Do you have friends?" he asked genuinely, wanted to know about it, so he could ask him further questions.

"Y-yes, sir, I mean, I have few friends," he shutter because of sudden question,don't know why though, but what few means was clear to Mr. Jung, as ke know the meaning that he has only, has 1 or 2 friends.

"Would you like to be my friend ?, I mean actually I don't have friends and I surely would like to be a friend with you," he looked at the boy as he had a questionable face, so he started uttering very fast, "No-no its not because of the earlier reason, I really don't have friends and I don't know why but I want to be a friend with you," he said it very fast but it was clearly heard by the little boy as he unknowingly chuckle but then went silent as he heard his teacher's sigh " I mean if I stay here, as I didn't did well , I couldn't even take a proper class , I just hope I get a chance tomorrow".he looked down as said those words.

"you did well sir, and I am sure that you are going to be here permanently, yo really explain well whenever any student was getting anything thing wrong, you not only corrected them but also explained very well, I know each and every student understood, no one ever taught like this they will just correct no explanation about it, so I am definitely sure you are going to teach us , so don't worry." he didn't even stop for second. His eyes were shining, and the smile was big as it was in the class before, not only him but his eyes also spoke. and it really convinced the male in front of the boy.

"You heard my explanations?" he asked in a teasing tone and a soft tone.

"y- yes, sir, why?" he again shutter not because of sudden question, he just felt like he was caught something doing wrong, even he did nothing wrong.

"ohh, but I thought you were busy looking outside the window," he again teased him, making Tae face red , oh not because of blush but because of embarrassment, oh he really was caught looking outside the window, but he still heard his sir each and every word and he did took a glance time to time, when his sir was explaining and not looking at him.

"I'm sorry sir, I w...." Tae was cut off by his teacher.

"You know it's really ok to have a look around and admire the nature, but its also important when a teacher is present in the class you shouldn't look around but focus on him only" he said calmly and politely, as he know the reason of him looking outside the window, but Mr. Jung didn't want Tae to have any bad habits, he is sure that the boy is really polite and obeying, so he just doesn't wanted him to feel bad if anyone say bad about him for doing the same thing. as he wanted only good for him.

I'm really sorry sir, it never happened and will never happen, I just..., I'm really...... Tae was again cut off with a soft tone voice.

"as I said , it's really ok, just remember what said ok, you don't need to apologize you did nothing wrong though, as you did listen to ke whatever I explained and that was impressive, I really appreciate it, no one can really do that but you did," he didn't notice that he was smiling widely showing his teeth, he look at the little boy and again continued " I think now I know why Mr. Han was so impressed with you, you are surely a brilliant student." Mr. Jung was still smiling

"It's not like that," he was so flustered now that he was a tomato, "I would surely remember what you said, and won't repeat it again." he said, smiling and hiding his burning face .

"But I think you forgot what I asked you," he said, making a sad face and directly looking in the eyes of the little boy,

Tae was in the cloud of thoughts what his sir was saying as he asked, "h-hm w-what sir,"

"You still didn't answer my question. should I ask it again, " he gesture his hand forward in the last sentence like questioning, " will you be my friend? "
