When Today Passes

Stormy Night

After making love for several hours I slept a peaceful sleep which seems like I have been sleeping for several hours, but it was only 50 minutes since I fell asleep. When I woke up because of the loud thunder sound, I was all alone in the bed and Will was nowhere to be found in our bedroom or bathroom. I picked my bathrobe from the hanger and changed into that to cover my naked body before walking down the stairs to his home-office in the ground floor.

As I was climbing down each and every steps, it reminds me of my wedding day. I never expected to have a fairytale wedding or to get married with Will. Even now, when I think of that beautiful occasion, I doubt whether I'm living in a dream land or not. Because this life which I'm living right now seems to be like a dream. Our enlarged wedding photo reminds me it's not a dream and I'm really having a happy family.

Who would that though that the happiness which I'm pursuing now is going to become the dust before that day ends? Of course I was not prepared for what I'm going to find out later this night either.

As I reached the living room the TV was kept on and the news about the thunder storm was the talk of the evening. "It's not safer to go out of the house tonight and the weather forecasting department announced that the storm is very strong and it'll take three days for the storm to move away from the horizon." I turned off the TV and went knock Will's office door, but suddenly I dropped the idea of knocking and on the though of surprising him I opened the door widely.

I went there to surprise him, but instead he surprised me by pinning me on the wall and crashed his lips on mine without any warning. I was again under his sweet spell which I didn't wanted to break out from. I was totally given away in that kiss and forgot the reason why I came to his home-office in the first place.

"Why are you wandering in this cold climate Sara?" He asked as he moved his lips down to my collarbone and kissed me like feeding me the most sweetest poison. I couldn't bring my mind to the point where I could find an answer for his question.

"I... I..." I don't even know what I'm trying to say when I was getting drunken from the lust with each and every touch of his playful fingers. I felt like I'm going to go insane as he untied my bathrobe and slowly massaged my cleavages. With his teasing lips he licked and bit my t**s which lead me to the explosion. "Aahh!" The pleasure building inside me kept me in sanity just by the thread knot and I don't know when it'll get untied and I'll fall completely insane.

When I tried to undo his shirt buttons, his phone started to ring. "Holy Moly!" I was annoyed to get disturbed when my husband is giving me a very streamy passionate treatment which my body craves for. He kissed me one last time before getting the call.

"Yes." It was not his style to answer the call with just yes. He usually answers his office calls as 'Thsi is William Hunter, how could I help you?' I looked at him with my hungry eyes. "Now?" He looked at me with worried eyes before continuing, "Okay!" He mouthed 'sorry' to me and continued his call. "I'll be there in 15 minutes." I don't like how it's going anymore. Who on the hell will be happy when their husband have to leave them halfway on a passionate session to do his unannounced work? I'm not a saint though. "I'm sure about that. I'll take it." He hung up the call and came to me.

"I'm sorry dear. I need to go now." I was very very mad but I don't know on whom I'm being mad right now. "I promise you to give a very hot and steamy gift after I return home." He kissed me on my temples before I could say anything and took a strange looking briefcase from his office safe.

"It's not safe to drive now. The storm will get stronger in few hours." I tried to convince him to not go out in the stormy night, but he refused by kissing me on my lips and went away from his office.

"It's not fair!" I shouted as he was about to open the door. "At least tell me where you are going. I will at least try to calm down by knowing where you will be going." It's not a bluff. I was really worried and I just wanted to know he's safe out there.

"It's a lab in Melody Street. I'll be back within an hour honey." He winked at me before leaving home. I sat on the sofa and started to surf internet, till I got bored. When I checked the time it was already past one and half hours. I called Will, but he didn't picked the call. Melody street is not even far away from home, if I have to take my car, it'll take only 10 minutes.

Panic started to make my heart thunders as the thunder became heavier. "Pick up Will." I called him again and again, yet he didn't picked the call. I ran over to bedroom and changed my dress in recorded time and picked my car key. "I hope you are safe honey!" I prayed to heavens to keep my husband safe as I started the engine.

In the record time of 3 minutes I reach Melody street. The street was deserted because of the hellish stormy rain. I came out of the car and looked for any trace of laboratory in that street but there was none. I took my phone and tried to call my husband again and again. But he didn't picked the call. "Holy Moly! Where are you Will?" Tears started to roll down my cheeks which are non noticeable because of the pouring rain.

Suddenly I noticed his car parked few blocks away from me in front of an unfinished building. 'Tesles Laboratory' finally I noticed the board and I felt relieved but something made me worried and I had a weird feeling as I entered into the building. It was marked that the lab was in 2nd floor. 'Why this building is still unfinished? Why he's called here? How come a software developer is needed in such place?' Numerous questions arose in my mind and made me panic more.

When I reached the second floor, there was only one door which was kept unlocked. I opened it without making any noise and went inside that. The interior of the building is totally different from the outside which is left unfinished. My mouth formed a big 'O' looking at the high-tech interior of the building. There were many motors and electrical items which I never saw in my life were kept safely in that place. 'It must be the laboratory' I said to myself as I wander around the lab.

I found a room closed with a board 'Unauthorized people are not allowed' but I heard some notice from that room. I hesitated at first, but 'I need to find if my husband is safe.' I opened the door without thinking twice. But when I opened the door, what I saw made me dizzy. My chest started to hurt in the place where my heart was used to beat. I felt the bleeding of blood inside my chest as I took each and every step forward.

Tears started to fall from my eyes as I hit the ground when my legs betrayed me. "What are you doing here? How did you came inside?" A blonde woman in laboratory coat asked me with panicked voice of her's. I couldn't give out any answers as I saw my so-called husband lying on the table naked.

"What is going on here?" I asked with quivering voice of mine as I didn't moved my eyes from Will. When I went closer to him, I noticed something strange. "What have you did to him?" I shouted on that blonde woman who is wearing a laboratory coat. I ran over to him and covered him with a bedsheet and cupped his face which was ice cold. "Will!" My blood froze on the chilliness of his skin. "Will! Open your eyes!" I cried. "Will!"

Suddenly he opened his eyes and what I saw then made me scared to death. His magnetic Gray eyes turned into red and he sat on the table with no facial reaction like a zombie coming into life in movies. My body started to tremble and I stood there as if I was frozen.
