Have you ever felt heartbreak? The way you heart just seems to…stop. The way you’re gasping for air that you don’t want to breathe. The way your body just goes numb. The way your mind just goes blank. The way you’re drowning. Drowning in emotions you never thought you’d feel. Drowning. Have you ever felt heartbreak? The way the future you envisioned slips from beneath you. All the plans that you made, your hopes, your dreams, they’re no longer that reality you thought you could have, they’re a ghost of a fantasy you wish you’d never had. All the memories you hoped to me make are the memories that only make it harder to breathe, they only make your heart hurt more. Have you ever felt heartbreak? The world you had in the palm of your hand crumbles to dust, it collapses in around you. It crushes you. And now. Now it’s just a reminder that you’re a failure, that you’re broken and hopeless. It’s the weight that hangs on your chest, a ghost of something you nearly had, something you did have. It’s a reminder that it isn’t you and the world, it’s you against the world and no one will save you. It’s a reminder of a battle you never knew you were losing. Have you ever felt heartbreak? I have. And it’s almost fatal. But I survived. I learnt to breathe again. I learnt to love myself. I learnt more about myself in my almost-last breath than I ever could have without it. And because I survived. I learnt to thrive and I became the woman I always knew I could be, who I always knew I was. But I built walls, walls to protect me from the world that tried to kill me. And now. I rule the goddam world. I am Bianca Genevieve Rossi. And I’m never getting my heart broken again. I will never give them the satisfaction of watching me fall. Because I rule the goddam world and no one will take that from me again. Ever.   ~:~ Dear world: Roses are red, violets are blue,  I've got five fingers and the middle one's for you.  ~:~
