Good News

After another day at work, Julia gets home and starts to get comfortable. She takes off her heels and puts on slippers and then she turns on her laptop. She finds a comfortable seat on the couch and then starts checking her inbox for new e-mails. After scrolling down a few spam mails she notices a mail from the recruitment department of The Han group. She hastily clicks on it, she closes her eyes and prays for what she has been wishing for since her interview last month.

She slowly opens her eyes and starts to read“Congratulations, we are happy to announce that you have met all of the requirements to become our new Director of the Financial department here at Han” she reads out loud. “As the current director still has 2 weeks left in his contract, you may only start work then.” Julia finishes reading with tears running down her face.

After doing her hair and make-up, she grabbed her phone and purse and took a cab to the address Jay sent her.

After driving for about 20 minutes, she arrived to this restaurant near the beach, you could hear loud music playing from the outside and there was a long line just to get in the restaurant. After paying the cab driver Julia takes her phone out to dial Jay.” I’m outside, come and get me”
