Braden Price Pov: 3 days of walking I finally make it to the Royals pack border, I know because I'm face to face with the troops, there the biggest men I have ever seen! "State your name and reason for trespassing?" one man hollar out, I show respect by bowing on my knees, "My name is Braden Price, I need to speak with my friend Mindi she is mated with the Beta, I need her help" I say to the man, "Stand" I hear a deep voice speak, I stand, and was face with a 6 ft giant I start trembling, "Baby stop your scaring him," I hear Mindi voice behind the guy, she steps around smiling ear to ear, reaching for a hug, mistakingly doing so, I heard her mate growl very deeply, his eyes turning, I stumble back the beta standing over me, "Ryan stop he is my friend from the village, we've helped each other throughout the years," Mindi says, standing on her tiptoes, placing her hand on his shoulder, I watch as his eyes change back to normal and the growling simmered, he stares at Mindi for a moment a small smile prys on his lips, He turns back to me holding out his hand, "Sorry, I'm beta Ryan Lee of the Royals, Braden right?" he says, his deep scary voice gone, I take his hand and he helps me up, I dust my self off, Mindi hugs me, but I didn't hug her back, fearing next time I want have a beating heart, "Braden, what's happen, I can feel sadness and pain from you?" I sadly stare at Mindi, she stops smiling "Braden, what's happen?" she says , "Perhaps we can talk in private? there's alot that has happen." Mindi looks over at Ryan, he nods his head, turns toward the men, "Thank you for your time, thats a job well done, you may return to your post." The men ran off in different directions, "I'll have someone set up the meeting house, I'm sorry but I'll be in the room with y'all, just protection for our Beta." Ryan says sternly, Mindi just gives him a look, I nod and follow the both of them, when I crossed the line I could feel their powerful energy surging threw the whole palace, it was beautiful here, contouring up a plan quickly we enter the front of the palace I was taking back by the beautiful scenery, gardens, statue of the king right in the middle, water fountain shooting around it, the palace itself was gigantic, it was just all to beautiful, I hear Mindi snicker, looking at her I turn red, her and her scary mate was staring at me, he looked bored, Mindi was ready to burst when she wiped her finger around her mouth, pointing at me, I wipe the side of my lips and realized I was drooling, "Beautiful, isn't it." Mindi says happily, "This way," I hear Ryan say walking past the palace, Mindi rolls her eyes and we walk past the palace to a church building that's being re built, "Is this a new building or something?" I asked, no-one spoke, we walked on up, stepping inside a room a long table with a lot of chairs alongside the table, "this is our conference building." Mindi says sitting down, I follow her placing my bookbag on the floor, "would you like a drink or some food?" Mindi ask. "I'll take some water please." I say back, she walks over to a small table and pours 3 cups full of ice and water, placing one in front of Ryan, and mine in front of me, she sits across from me beside Ryan whose at the head of the table, we take a sip of water, Ryan jumping into it, "What bring you here to our pack? and what help do you need with my mate?" his serious tone back. I look down and clear my throat, " A man and his wolf buddies, attack my home as well as Mindi's and the rest of the villagers, homes and shops were burned and vandilize, a girl and myself was the only survivors." I stop talking as a tear fell from my face, I heard Mindi take a sharp breath, and whisper, "Your grandparents?" I could only shake my head no, "Oh my god, Braden I'm sorry, Mindi sadly says, I look up at her, she had tears streaming down, "I was told to come here, and bring the girl back, if not he was gonna kill me, he wanted me to buddy up, get in the castle and take her, Mindi your my best friend, I couldn't do that to you, I saw how happy you were when you came to the border I can fell your happiness all over, I can't mess that up," I say without taking a breath, everyone was silent, then Ryan smacks the table almost breaking it, "YOU CAME TO TAKE LAYLA, ILL KILL YOU BOY!" Ryan shouts loudly, I fall out of my seat, on my knees holding my hands up, "Please don't kill me, I told you everything, I don't want to take her, I want to live, I love Mindi as a sister, I can't betray her." I cry out, "How do I know you still want? all because you told the truth, I can't have you here knowing in a second you could not only betray her, but betray the whole pack, the girl is under our protection, and we will kill whoever tries to harm her." Ryan speaks with anger, "I'll give you a blood oath, if I betray it I will die." I say. Mindi who hasn't said a word, steps between us, she looks down at me, sadness and anger rising, "Yes, you will do a blood oath, and you betray me Braden I swear I'll be the one that takes your life, this girl is special, she was held as a prisoner for that bad man for years, she will never go back to him." I nod my head in agreement, "I promise, you know my grandparents and you raise me right, and I will do right by you, your all I have left in my life, I don't want to lose you as well." I say standing up, Ryan huffs and walks toward the door, "I'll get the oath set up, in the meantime Mr. Price, I'll have you put in a room, you will stay there till time to do your oath, you may eat and shower, let's go love." Ryan says, gesturing for Mindi to follow, she places her hand on my shoulder, and walks away, I get lead from the building by a guy around my age, I felt weird when he placed his hand on my shoulder leading me toward the castle, I hear him growl and then clear his throat, we walk thru the house, to a small room, walking in there's a small bed, dresser and a small bathroom with a shower in side, I placed my bag on the bed, noticing the guy still standing at the door, "Do you have to stand there the whole time?" I ask, he quickly shakes his head no, and slams the door, taking a deep breath, running my hands thru my hair, I lay down on the bed falling asleep.

Layla's Pov: Waking up to the bright sun in my eyes, I throw the blanket over my face, groaning. I hear shuffling around the room, ugh. "Please let me sleep longer" I muzzled out, "No child, it's time to wake up we got alot on the agenda today, and plus Owen said you can train if you like?" I quickly throw the blankets off of me and sit up, facing the queen as she smiles sweetly laying out some clothes for me. Blushing, "Um you don't have to get my clothes," I say to her, She just smiles wider, "I didn't have a girl, I just want to pamper you, thats all." I watch as she hums a song and fold the laundry that's in the basket, getting out of bed, I walk over to the bathroom she holds out my clothes, and turns back to folding clothes. 20 mins later I'm walking out of the bathroom dressed and ready to go, Mrs Pierce is sitting on the couch, drinking her coffee. "So, I can really train?" I ask her. She rolls her eyes and huffs, "Yes if that is what you want! but I can fully understand if you don't, we women in this pack kinda just let the men do the work, but Owen felt that since your a very good fighter that maybe some of the females would like to train with you." she says. I smile wildly, fighting is my go to, I love it and hate it at the same time, "T, you there?, we get to fight today!" nothing, mentally rolling my eyes, I follow Mrs Pierce to the kitchen, we sit down and eat our breakfast in silence, "So, um where is Owen anyways" I say quietly, I wanted to tell her about our In counter yesterday, but it's really embarrassing, no one has ever seen me naked, never been that close up to me, I haven't seen him since, "He's in a meeting right now with Ryan, a witch boy showed up at our border yesterday, he was needing Mindi help, now they are discussing whatever the problem is. I nod my head and got up, taking our dishes to the sink I begin to clean and wash, "Dear, you do know we have kitchen maids for that," I smirk, "I know, it's just I'm staying here for free, I just feel I need to put my own help around here, y'all have been truly kind to me, I want to give something in return." I whisper to her, I hear her get up and walk behind me, I slightly jump when she puts her hand on my shoulder, "Thank you, Layla for trusting us being here, it means so much to us all." Shana says, I look over at her, "Do you need me to walk you to the training fields?" Shana asked as we were walking toward the back door, "No mam I saw it the other day, thank you tho." I say to her, "Well dear, this is where we part, if you need anything don't hesitate to come find me an ask!" she hugs me gently and walks away, I stand there smiling. She is very loving like my mother was, sadness washes over, I quickly vanish it when I hear 2 girls giggling coming around the corner, they stop and stare at me, one girl has brown hair and is very short, the other girl, has long blonde hair, very pretty, she stands there picking at her nails, "Uh hi, my name is Layla." Gesturing out my hand, "Whatever who cares, aren't you just a visitor here?" feeling anger rise over me, "I believe so, under the royals care I am." I say with little more attitude, the blonde girl stops messing with her nails and looks me up and down, "Oh that's right, your the one Owen and Ryan found in the woods right? beaten and starving, I heard you was actually staying in Owens room, but let's make this clear, he's mine, I traveled. long and far to wed him, rather he is touching you or not, hopefully not I mean look at you, I'm just saying girl, once he done with whatever he's getting out of you, he will drop you dry and come running to me, cause regardless he has no choice, my father is making this agreement go fourth, and once I become queen of this pack, and all the wolves anyone that stands in my way." the blonde girl says in her weird accent, looks me up and down again, "anyone that is, will die or get thrown out under my commands." she finishes and pushes me back, both girls walk off laughing, standing there, rage building inside of me, I take off running threw the back door, tears streaming my face, I run to the training fields, I run the track hard and fast, running off my anger, after a hour of running, I move on to the workout equipment, I begin to do sit ups pull ups, 100 each, after that I begin to punch the punching bag, more anger rising, flashback of my life devoloping in my thoughts, I punch and kick harder, each time when finally the whole chain snaps in half, I watch as it falls to the ground, fist still balled up, sweat pouring off of me, "You have alot of anger inside of you, breath out each hit you take," I hear his husky voice right behind me, breathing down my neck, my hairs stand up, I didn't want to move, I feel my anger calming down, "I didn't mean to break it," I whisper, I feel him move closer to me, I'm pretty sure my back is touching his body, electric bolts shooting threw me, when I feel a slight wind hit me, I turn to see he's gone, I stand there looking around, I don't see him nowhere, maybe I just thought he was there, no I'm 100% he was just here, "Whatever." I say out loud, I lift up the punching bag and Toss it to the side, I start walking the field to see over 100 people doing different things, ring fighting, one on one, yoga, I walk up on a couple kids sitting in a circle, their all watching as a women is teaching them survival techniques, how to build a fire, where to find water, I watch for ever just listening and watching the smiles and some sad looks on the kids face as their learning, reminds me of home when our teacher would teach us stuff, one kid smiles and waves at me, I look behind me but no one was there, then realizing he's waving at me, I smiled back and wave, then all the kids were smiling and waving, I just smiled and waved back, walking pass them, I hear a kid say, " that's our luna, she is beautiful." I stop and smiled, looking back at the child who said it, she turns blood red and Snickers, I nod my head at her, and walk off, I hear a commotion and head off to the direction, a crowd has formed, not being able to see I make my way thru the crowd, finally reaching the middle, I see a guy with a bloody nose, down on his knees, the other guy who is build huge, walking around him laughing and talking s**t, the guy holding his nose, begins to cry, everyone around was laughing and pointing at him, I felt madness take over, how are these people letting this happen, the huge guy stops walking and grabs the other guy by the back of his hair, he slams the boy down on the ground face first, this crowd hooting and hollering, I see red, I start slinging people left and right as I make my way to the asshole, finally making my entrance I stand there, "Uh can I help you with something," the ugly guy says, not saying nothing back, my fist balled at my sides, "Oh, I see newbie here wants a shot at me, everyone!" he Hollars out, I smirk at him, he kicks the smaller guy over to the side of the circle, the boy looks up at me with pleading eyes, I smile sadly at him, then I turn my eyes over at my prey, I bring my fist up to my face to show I'm ready, "You sure you want this?" the dude says pointing at his naked chest, I roll my eyes, we start circling each other, waiting for one to start a move, "Bring it girl." he says to me, "Show me what you got big boy." I taunt back, he smirks and leaps toward me, I dodge and roll behind him kicking his leg out from under him, he roars out, "Cheater," he screams, "I don't cheat, you just left an opening for me." I smile.

Owens pov: After Ajax gave me back, not even 20 seconds in to having my freedom, I had to witness her coming out of the shower and not only did that make me hard as a rock, I watch as her towel fell to the floor, her naked body standing a inch from me, the steam from the shower boiling off her body, I took in the hundreds of scars all over her, her perfect t**s just asking for me to touch them, her beautiful structure, then suddenly she just goes running in the closet, leaving me standing there, hard and confused, so I left the room, I didn't return all night, I knew if I did, I would give in to my desires and that's not what I'm wanting right now, right now I'm trying to stop a war from happening and getting these idiots off my land, Ajax was right about one thing, we need to find our traitor, but it's hard when he has completely shut me out, now I'm sitting here in this meeting, I'm with Ryan, Mindi, and the boy who showed up yesterday, I listen as he told me everything, I lose it after hearing he was here to take Layla, "How can I trust you, you was sent by our enemy to take what is ours, and now you want me to open my doors to you? you want life here? my wolf and I will always see you as a threat, I'm sorry but no, I can't let you live here, I can only help you move on and find sanctuary somewhere else, I'm sorry." looking over at Mindi who has tears falling from her face, Ryan giving a small smirk, I knew he was ok with my descions, I mean the boy ask for his mate and now wants mine, what do you expect? "Owen dear, she is in the training fields maybe you should go talk to her, she didn't mention nothing of what happen last night, but for her you need to talk to her," my mother link comes thru, "soon mother, I'm gonna have to run this kid threw the border I promised him sanctuary, but not here." I say back, she doesn't say nothing else, "there's a village not far from here, they will welcome you." I say to him, he nods his head stands up, " I understand your decision," he walks over to Ryan, "Please Beta always protect my best friend, she's all I have left," Ryan nods, then he turns to Mindi, she barley keeping it together, "this is goodbye for now, but promise me if you ever need me just send me a message," they hug and we walk out with him, I had one of our troops escort him out of our lands, turning back to Ryan, "I'm headed to the field, wanna join?" I ask him, he smiles and turns to Mindi, "Babe wanna go square up," she sadly shakes her head, "I'm needed in the hospital, I'll see you later." she kisses him slightly on the cheek, walks away, Ryan stares sadly at her, he feels her pain saying goodbye to her best friend, "maybe we could have trusted him Owen, I mean he did tell us the truth, I really don't think he would have full filled his plans." I stare at him I did believe this kid, "Ryan you and I both no right now, we can't have newbies coming threw not right now, once Barron's gone and Land is gone he can join us." I say to him, he smiles and nods, slapping me on the shoulder "Well Alpha, let's go find some pups to beat up shall we!" he gestures, we smile and take off to the fields, I'm itching to squall with someone, but the more we get closer I can smell her scent, not realizing I groan out loud, I hear Ryan chuckle, "She's here ain't she?" I huff and kept walking, "dude please, Ajax gave you back for a reason, I think you should try and make sense of it," Ryan says, "I saw her naked last night, she ran from me." I say quickly Ryan stops walking completely, "She came out of the bathroom, Ajax gave me back, right when she walked out, I had no time to get out, she didn't see me and walked right into me, she fell to the floor, I went to help her up but we touched and bumped heads, the feeling of electricity was going crazy between us, I got her up, then she went to move around and I did the same in the same direction so we bumped into each other we did that a few times when she just got angry she threw her arms up and that's when the towel fell, I saw everything, her scares her perfect body." "Okay okay I get it, I don't want to hear nothing else," Ryan quickly covering his ears, I laughed. "Sorry man, it's just she's." "She's made for you, Owen, she's hurt and needs you man, she needs you to be her safe place the one that want ever hurt her." Ryan says holding my shoulder, "She's yours Owen and you need to see that for yourself, she is your destiny man, and come on bro, the girl can fight." he says slapping my shoulder now, we both laugh and watch over the field at our young wolves train, well Ryan was, I was watching the one beautiful lady that was running hard on the track lost in her world, even tho she looks angry once again, Ryan following my gaze, "Shes very angry person," I say out loud, "Well, to Shay my friend, because your the same." he smiles before he turns and runs out on the field, I watched her over a hour in the woods, she is very skilled, she has ambitious to her, I come closer as she whispering and hitting the bag like it's someone, realizing hoping it ain't me, I watch as she hits it one more time and the chain pops in half, her anger slowly falling, I didn't even know I had made my way behind her when her back touched me, all I could do was freeze, her scent was just irresistible, she hasn't even notice me yet, "You have alot of anger inside of you, breath out with each hit you take," I lean in an whisper into her ear, her body went fridgid i heard her take in a breath, smiling I quickly vanish, not before I hear her say, "I didn't mean to break it," watching her turn and look confused, she looking around, when I get a mind-link "Owen, banes, he's hurt another one." huffing loudly I make my way over to the crowded area, My pack making a way for me, I see Ryan making his way over to when he stops and smirks, I see what it is, Layla is making her way over as well, I leave the crowd, "What you doing?" Ryan ask walking up to me, "Let's see what happens," I say to him. He laughs and props up on the ring, "She will prob end up kicking his ass." Ryan says, I smirk and prop up long with Ryan, "let's see if she can handle my men." I say to him, he rolls his eyes, we watch and listen to Banes trying to talk his s**t, Layla not really looking fond, they begin, Layla gets the first hit, Banes falling to his knees, she gestures for him to get up, they begin again, Banes never touching Layla, after 10 mins I can tell she over it, she was about to give in to a final blow when she stops, she looks up and looks out over all the people, shaking her head, she drops banes and takes off running, "Want me to go Owen?" Ryan says getting out of the ring, "No, I will, take banes and make sure he learn his lesson on bullying others, give him some blows if have to," I watch as she enters the woods, "Go get em tiger!" Ryan says smiling, I rolled my eyes, and chased after her.

Laylas pov: I love fighting I really do, but I don't know I was about to give this chunk a lesson when it all hit me, this is exactly like Barron's pack, all packs are the same we fight each other to prove our place, I don't have a place here or nowhere, looking at all these young people, some prob my age, their also the same as me, fighting proving points, bullying the others, I have to get out of here, dropping the guy I take off running, I hit the woods, not sure where to go I just run when I hear footsteps behind me, I run faster, suddenly I stop almost falling into him again. "ahhh" I scream out, "You really need to quit stopping Infront of me," I say to him. He smiles and turns around his back facing me, "you want to run, come on follow me." he says and takes off running, I stand there, "come on" I hear his voice echo, I take a deep breath and chase after him, I quickly catch up to him we running side by side, I look over and see him happy? he looks so free, we run for over a hour when he stops running and starts walking so I do the same, we haven't spoken, we walk into a clearing, he leans down and drink some water from the small river, I do the same, he goes and sits down on the ground back prop on a tree, sweat rolling off his body, I sit down as well, we sit there not speaking, when he moves and lays down on the ground arms propped behind his head as a pillow, I didn't lay down I stayed sitting up, "When I need to clear my head I go for a run, I come here." his deep voice speaks, his eyes are closed, "Banes is ruthless and mean but hes a good fighter, he just needs some help with his descions makings." Owen says, so the guys name is banes, and obviously this isn't his first time hurting people, "Piece of s**t in my books," I say, I heard him laugh, "Yea he is," wait did Owen Pierce just agreed with me? "I'm glad someone stood up to him, and a girl at that, he will get his karma, alot of the pack members saw him get beat up, so technically you are his karma," Owen says, "I don't fight to look good, or to make myself feel better I fight because that's all I know, and plus everyone here is just like the old pack members of mine, they do it cause their suppose to do it, you tell them to do it or else, they die right" i say to him, "Layla, we are nothing like what you know, we care we take care of you, and everyone in this pack, I only make them fight and train for their own protection, if a rogue or something was to attack all my members can protect themselves," he says, I sit in silence, I kinda never thought of it like that, I'm just used to fighting to the death, not for other reasons, "Im sorry," I say to him, he looks at me, "Nothing to be sorry for, in fact I was gonna ask you, if maybe you would like a job as a trainer here, at the pack house?" he says never leaving his eyes from mine, I was almost taken back for a minute, when the blonde remarks came to my mind, "you want me to stay?" is the question that just rolled out, he looks at me funny, "Yes," is all he answered, "Why" I ask back, "Because you belong with a pack, you belong with people that will care for you, every wolf does, and plus I don't think Ryan would let me live if I just threw you back out their." he says looking over the sunset,"So it's true, the girl with the weird accent, shes right, she will be your queen? cause if so, believe me it want be your descions if I stayed, she already made it clear that I would be gone," I say standing up to head back, I hear him growl loudly, then suddenly I'm pushed toward the tree,his big arms on each side of my head, his eyes baring into me, his breathing unsteady, I stay quiet and still, he leans closer I can hear him breathing me in, "What all did she say," he whisper, "that was basically it, and when your done with me, you will come to her, and once she crown I'll be gone," I whisper back, I hear his growl again, he stands back letting his arms fall, I see his hair standing up, "For f**k sakes Ajax, come out." he screams, I come off the tree, and something happen I wrap my arms around his stomach, bolts of electricity swarming all over, I feel him relaxed, he wraps his arms around me, we stand holding each other for a while when we heard howls and a scream, we let go of each other, both turning and ran in the direction of the scream. Both hearts pounding threw the woods no words spoken.
