Maybe her little brother Charles was eight, maybe Ezans needed to be reminded who Latvian were. She gazed back at Thalin who brought the news. He stood outside the magical shield, at the garden.
She could see him from the other side because he had created a portal to pass the walls but couldn't pass the magic barrier. That magic was of a higher level.
“How is my father taking this?” she asked for the third time. The first two, Thalin hadn’t given her an answer.
Thalin tried ignoring it like the other times but it needed an answer. “Taking it how a King should take it of course” he said acting casual.
