It was Alice's 18th birthday. She was so excited. Her mom made her a special breakfast. Then she got to spend time with Grace and Jacob. They had a picnic and decided to go for a swim. Then they decided to walk around for a little bit.

When they made it back to Alice's house.It was time for her party. They were having the time of their lives. They were about to cut the cake when she realized she spelled cinnamon and felt a pull toward the smell. So she decided to follow it. It led her to her father's office. So she knocked and her dad said come in so she did. When she walked in Jane said mate. She realized that Alpha Alex was her mate. He told her to keep it quiet til he was done talking to her father and he would come and find her.

She left her father's office and went back to her party. Everyone was still having a blast. Her mom asked if she was ready for presents. She said yes.

After the presents everyone started leaving. So she asked her mom if she could go to her room. Her mom said of course. So she took her presents to her room. She put everything away. And sat on her bed. She was just thinking to herself When Alex asked her where she was. And she said jokingly that it was none of his business.

After about 5 minutes she heard a knock on her door. When she opened it it was Alex. He had a smile on his face. He asked her why she was sad. She said that she was afraid he was going to reject her. Alex said how can he reject the most beautiful girl ever. Then she asked how long has he known that they were mates. He told her that he has known since the first time that he say her. She asked why he didn't tell her. He said he wanted her to find out on her own.

They stayed in her room talking for hours. They were trying to figure out how to tell her parents. Alex was worried her parents would not let her leave. She told him not to worry because no one was standing in her way. She told him she has always had a crush on him. He said he knew that's one of the reasons why he always visits her.
