"I do not care what breed that girl is. She needs to be expelled immediately!" Kael growled through gritted teeth as he slammed his palm hard against the floor.
He planted his elbow down and dragged one knee forward to push himself up before extending a hand toward me without even looking.
I grabbed it immediately and pulled myself to my feet. I glanced around, expecting every eye in the hall to be fixed on us like usual.
But this time, no one was looking our way.
Normally, the students would stop whatever they were doing just to stare at us, even if we merely walked past them.
Now, they looked terrified.
