I ran breathlessly through the huge gate like someone was chasing me for my life.
Well... Lucien had been trailing after me ever since I stepped out of their building. Even with all his strength, he still couldn't catch up, which honestly said a lot about how desperate I was to get away from that place.
"Leave me alone! I don't want anything to do with you or your brothers anymore!" I shouted loud enough for him to hear.
I think he finally stopped because I heard him curse under his breath before kicking the ground in frustration.
"Losers," I muttered, trying hard not to replay Ronan's words in my head.
My eyes darted to the side when I spotted a huge signboard. "ROUTE TO THE MAIN CAMPUS."
Relief washed over me instantly.
