It's as if Kael made my life easier the moment he got together with Seraphina.
She doesn't seem threatened by my existence at all, and that should be something to celebrate.
Instead, I feel betrayed.
I was in the middle of convincing myself that it was time to move on from whatever tiny attachment I might have had to him when my roommate came running into the room, breathing heavily.
I frowned in confusion.
